Just starting this so that we can all post our thoughts throughout the day.

My wish for today is that as many people as possible GO OUT AND VOTE.

I cannot vote as I have been living abroad for over 15 years so if anyone wants to vote for me, I would like to vote for Gordon Brown. Voting by MN proxy

MrsPotato
That was silly of her.

Watching the news on the Greek crisis and the Dow drop. Scary stuff.

mspotatochip · 06/05/2010 20:24

I just went to "follow her" on Twitter and it does seem to have been deleted but being widely repeated across t'interweb. Thinking about it this is my first uk general election with my fullscale interweb addiction in play. I had fun with multiple tabs for the US election night oh for an obama (clegg) moment.........

toccatanfudge · 06/05/2010 20:25

I' about to try and sort my speakers out so I can have sound in the background.........at least makes following it a little easier whil I play free poker online, chat on here and follow what's going on..........

mspotatochip · 06/05/2010 20:28

1000 point drop jaysus

BeenBeta · 06/05/2010 20:38

mspotato - watching on CNBC. They say it was a programme trading glitch on the Dow but the market is still heavily down and extremely volatile even without that.

MmeLindtChocBrownies · 06/05/2010 20:41

It has recovered a bit. Down 400.

Slightly distracted by the BIG hair of the NY correspondent on BBC News.

HalfMumHalfBigot · 06/05/2010 20:42

mspotatochip · 06/05/2010 20:59

Theres a lot of twittering about exit polls is it just convention not to discuss them before the polls close or the law??
