It is perfectly acceptable in this country to have organisations like OBV...(Operation Black Vote)...which is funded by the tax payer....no one would dream of saying anything about that...

Why is that ok..?...ask yourself that..

Daftpunk, afaik Jesus was a pretty inclusive guy...he didn't discriminate on grounds of colour, race, even faith.

H loved and accepted and helped everyone, whoever they were.

that's the basis of Christianity as far as I recognise it.

How do you fit that in with BNP policies?

Operation Black Vote is intended to encourage black people to vote (statistically black people are less likely to vote than white people). It is nto about who people vote for - they could vote BNP if the wanted to - it's about getting black people into the polling stations. What they do when they get there is their own business!

The Fawcett Society performs a similar function for women.

Oh, and Britian is not going to become an islamic state whoever comes to power on Thursday - just in case anyone was worrying!

well if anything you've encouraged me to send an email to simon darby telling him there's nothing british about the bnp, so it's possible your post on here is counter productive, dp.

i've often thought that your views were slightly out of kilter with the general, slightly left leaning mn world, and have thought that you lend a little variety to make it more spicy.

i guess, overall, i'd like to thank you for raising the issue, starting a debate, and indirectly bringing the 'nothing british about the bnp website' to my attention.

No one, wf, I was merely pointing out that if posts disappear by deletion by MNHQ, not to blame DaftPunk as others (such as I) might have reported those posts.

It was only to clarify a possible course of action, in case others then attacked DaftPunk as being "unable to accept comment" or make other trivial points.

Looked at as an outsider, or highlighted with suitable %$%$% to replace swear words, the thread could be seen as an offensive set of comments aimed at stopping "free speech".

I'm no fan of the BNP, but a tirade of name calling would make for great publicity for them, from a "bunch of Mums" as some would put it, and I was just pointing to comments being looked at again as many were rather nasty.

Some white boys are a bit thick.

He's not sticking up for British born black people, Christian or otherwise. Or white Christians from Eastern Europe. Or British born / white Christian gay people for that matter.

Or disabled people / children of any race, creed or origin....

I believe there is an issue with white working class boys underachieving. It is not linked to immigration or whatever, however! This is a class issue. I don't see that calling them thick is constructive. It's not a "white boys" against "black boys" scenario.

Black people have been in this country for years...well over 60 yrs fgs...why do they still need tax payers to fund an organisation purely for their interests..?

I don't really care, let them have it...but why can't white people have similar organisations....y'know, that puts the interests of white people first..
