This election is your chance to give power to the only political party who will put the interests of British people first.

Our heritage and culture will be celebrated first..

Christianity will be promoted, the BNP will not allow the UK to become an Islamic state

you will not be forgottan like you have been under Labour..

The 3 main parties will continue to suck up to minorities....that's the way it is now...it will never change unless the BNP get some power.

It is perfectly acceptable in this country to have organisations like OBV...(Operation Black Vote)...which is funded by the tax payer....no one would dream of saying anything about that...

Why is that ok..?...ask yourself that..

Vote BNP and bring back some sanity to this country...before it's too late.

OBV

Say no more

Justine has already been on the thread and said that they are letting the thread stand.

Sorry, tired.

Answering questions in detail takes time...

This thread frightens me - actually, scratch that...it makes me feel sick with fear. Literally sick. It's not the OP or the subsequent justifications. It's the fact that the OP's view is evidence of what is rife in our society today - racism dressed up in a suit, perfectly acceptable to a huge majority of people who seize on the policies as a possible way to deal with life's ills.

Don't get me wrong - the MN general response is fantastic, hopeful even. But we are in a bubble here - I don't feel ashamed to say I feel protected here. I won't overhear someone saying that "foreigners shouldn't be allowed" when I'm getting onto a train. Or listen to a passer-by spit the words "f-ing paki" as I walk past. These things were commonplace when I was a child then for a lovely lull of about ten years, racism became totally unacceptable - the bubble was our world.

Now the bubble has shrunk - people make casual racist remarks in the workplace, in the doctor's surgery, in the shops. there is a real possibility that the BNP could win a vast number of votes - not to run the country but certainly to make their mark on Parliament. Then first generation British citizens like me and worse, my immigrant husband and worse still, our children could find that those little utterings of hate become commonplace in our lives. The protection offered by quangos and PC legislation will slowly disappear.

I guess what I'm trying to say is don't pooh-pooh or downplay what the OP is saying. she represents a significant minority view and rather than mocking her we should try to understand where all this misplaced hate is coming from. Why the blame? Why do those even thinking of voting for the BNP feel so disenfranchised from normal society? Perhaps we should attack this problem the same way we do with other disenfranchised parts of the community - with understanding and an attempt to get to the bottom of all that ill-feeling....

Good God - I'm starting to sound like bloody Ebony and Ivory. Just a wee thought girls anyway. As you were

I think a lot of people have been trying to understand where the OP's views are coming from. And failed. Mainly because she makes no sense.

toccatanfudge · 04/05/2010 21:57

och I got half way through and got bored

Like weegiemum's quote - if this is their Christianity - it's not in my name either.

I'm English, oh yes I am..........a true one, as far back as my family tree goes (couple of hundred years only admittedly), even got the blue eyes and blonde hair to prove it.

I have an English flag draped over a chair in my bedroom.........it'll go up in the window once England is playing at a major sport again (think football world cup is the next one?)

But fuck me, the BNP are racist, facist misogynistic, homophobic,(and all the rest), idiots who don't stand for anything I believe in AT ALL.

toccatanfudge · 04/05/2010 21:59

oh and sadly we have BNP, UKIP, English Democracts and some mad racist Independent standing round here......

I'll be out voting on Thursday (for Tory which is perhaps a little odd given my socio economic circumstances right now is a lot less weird that a descendant of Irish Catholics with a mixed race DP voting for the BNP)

Lulumaam · 04/05/2010 22:00

IME, DP does not answer questions

she very sweetly says ' i missed it ' 'i'll read it and get back to you.' even when you copy and paste the question for her convenience

the reason is, she has no answers, because it is all knee jerk crap

I asked her what her role as an activist was, and finally got a ' i don't want to divulge personal info'

DP has no answers

The BNP has no answers

its manifesto and white papers ahve no answers

it is nazi racist jackboot rubbish in an ill fitting suit

and it is NOT IN MY NAME

TheFirstLady · 04/05/2010 22:00

I really would like some of those answers DP. Before the election if possible.
But you don't have any answers because you have been spouting your racist bullshit all over MN for months now and have failed at every turn to engage with the rational arguments that other posters make against your views.

Lulumaam · 04/05/2010 22:01

I am going to try to just keep posting this

NOT IN MY NAME

on all BNP threads

ZephirineDrouhin · 04/05/2010 22:03

Pathologically attention-seeking troll or just very very dim? So hard to decide...

MmeLindt · 04/05/2010 22:05

Cashandcarry
This thread gives me hope, tbh.

There are almost 600 posts on here, and DP is still fighting for the BNP alone on MN.

While the inhibitions to make racist comments has been lowered, this thread shows that there are people who are willing to stand up and challenge these comments.

noddyholder · 04/05/2010 22:06

i think you would have to be pretty dim to be so offensive but unable to back it up

Quattrocento · 04/05/2010 22:08

MN have replied and said they 'have had a great deal of reports about this thread ... Mumsnet is an open forum and the OP has right to express her opinions.'

I'm glad I don't run MN. I'd really struggle with having a racist in residence.

Portofino · 04/05/2010 22:08

Tocc, well I am thoroughly English too, I have traced my family tree back to 16th century. Well there is a bit of Scottish/Irish blood....but I am an economic migrant in another country.

What does the BNP forsee for me when they close the borders and leave the EU? What will happen to my reciprical Pension arrangements? Will they be compensating me when I am no longer able to work as a non-EU citizen? And my DH? Do I have to come back to Blighty? So I will have no job, and nowhere to live. Will I go to the top of the housing queue?

Cashncarry · 04/05/2010 22:10

No I agree with you Mme Lindt - the responses give me hope. It's part of the reason I can't keep away from MN.

But we won't stem the tide this way - yes, the OP is alone on MN but not in the community at large. We simply have to find a way to beat it in a meaningful lasting way. I just don't know exactly what that is...

seeker · 04/05/2010 22:10

DP - just in case you've forgotten the questions you promised to answer, here are 3 of them.

What do you mean by "Islamification"?

In what way are British people not allowed to celebrate their heritage and culture?

In which constituencies are ethnic minority voters in the majority?

I'm looking forward to your answers.

oh answer the fucking questions posted on this thread, dp, and have done with it.

then answer the ones from the other thread you hijacked, and the ones from the one before that, and the one before that.

this wind-up is sick.

toccatanfudge · 04/05/2010 22:15

tell you what porto - they'll probably give me £150k (for the DS's to move out of the UK as they're not pure British and they're definitely not white) so you find me a nice Belgian man that can do your DH's job, I'll do your job and you can come and have my house here and I'll have yours (with my nice Belgian man) there

Amapoleon · 04/05/2010 22:16

DP Shame on you.

Portofino · 04/05/2010 22:19

We're sorted then tocc! I have just the man for you! Incredibly handsome but I can't go there as i am happily married. My job is a bit shit though, but the pay isn't bad....

toccatanfudge · 04/05/2010 22:22

oh I'll cope with a shit job..........I don't have a job - but I'm sure you'll find something round here pretty easily once all the forinners have gone back home as there's quite a few of them you know
