April 22nd TV Debate

I'm going along to be in the audience this Thursday for the Sky News TV Debate - it's being filmed in the South West, although it seems we're not supposed to say exactly where for security reasons.

Would people like an official MN behind-the-scenes report afterwards?

Should I break the rules and heckle/cheer loudly at a strategic moment, and if so then when?

If I'm allowed to ask a question should I go "off-script" and ask about biscuits?

Is there anything else I should think about?

oh god no not the cheaper gas bills thing again (remembers when head of BG was on here trying to pretend his wife worried about the bill after winter) - the guys a multi-millionaire!

Bumperliouzzzzzz · 22/04/2010 20:29

Wasn't DC doing most of his election campaign travel by private plane? (Before the volcano obvs)

CaveMum · 22/04/2010 20:29

Hmmm, as a Bristol girl I'm not noticing much of an accent in the "local" people asking questions!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 22/04/2010 20:29

RhinestoneCowgirl · 22/04/2010 20:30

They all appear to be from Horfield too

vesela · 22/04/2010 20:30

oooh, Gordon smiled! That must be worth a drink!

thatsnotmymonkey · 22/04/2010 20:30

GB is doing OK- what are we rating him out of ten so far?

7/10 for GB. I like him.

MsDav · 22/04/2010 20:30

They are really going for Clegg tonight but when he is given a chance to speak he's sounding good. Brown just asked NC a question so why is Cammo answering?

BeenBeta · 22/04/2010 20:30

FGS! Can we all just get real.

Our country is drowning in a sea of debt. No one wants to talk about this.

NoahAndTheWhale · 22/04/2010 20:30

"Get real" does appear to be the catchphrase this evening

nappyzoneloveslindor · 22/04/2010 20:31

Nuclear IS the only option

we KNOW this, don't we?

There IS no B plan, all the lights go off otherwise and we just ship in nuceal power from France (we do already)

vesela · 22/04/2010 20:31

Cameron's hair is very flat on top today, or is it my sky news online viewer squashing his head?

BosomsByTheSea · 22/04/2010 20:31

aaaaaaaaagh he said it again. Chilling.

dad2chchalk · 22/04/2010 20:31

7 for NC and DC, 5 for GB. He's creepy/ He's probably the most intelligent there, but has zero social skills.

Fayrazzled · 22/04/2010 20:32

Glad NC's not got a "theological" issue with nuclear energy. Eh?

CUNextTuesday · 22/04/2010 20:32

I think the make up dept have softened GB's features so much they appear to be sliding off his face...

thatsnotmymonkey · 22/04/2010 20:32

wubbly cheers!!

Bumperliouzzzzzz · 22/04/2010 20:32

I keep saying GB's arguments before he does, then turning to DH (who isn't watching) going 'See, see, that's what I said!'
