Stuff it.
I've got Outnumbered and HIGNFY recorded. No more navel gazing for me. (shakes head at how wrong polls can be).

MollieO · 15/04/2010 22:39

lobsters LOL. I'd pay to watch that .

AitchTwoZone · 15/04/2010 22:39

before you go, monkey, i wish to lol at your ready steady cook joke.

monkeysavingexpertdotcom · 15/04/2010 22:42

(Bows, curtseys) Chardonnay makes me funny.

LadyBlaBlah · 15/04/2010 22:42

Just caught up with the programme on Sky+ (been to aerobics - ZONE)

DC was appalling - I cannot understand for one minute why papers are saying he won it. He clearly didn't. He was uncomfortable the whole way through, and said NOTHING.

Please don't let him be PM.

bluecardi · 15/04/2010 22:42

dc & his two mothercare references, gb with a double dip recession & a proportional representation listed system - what? Made NC seem very clear indeed.

TDiddy · 15/04/2010 22:42

Clegg should go on Britain's got talent, Facebook and Twitter...would propel him to the top Obama style

Think I am wasted on my current job. Feel like I should be managing Clegg's rise. Would be nice to be looking after a babe-magnet of a politician like him

TDiddy · 15/04/2010 22:45

Maybe DC is getting carried away; MN is great but is perhaps not representative of the country. He needs to get back to his hoodie-roots and start saying phrases like "Yo Daive"

monkeysavingexpertdotcom · 15/04/2010 22:45

They said he won, Blah Blah, because they are Tory papers. Simples.

monkeysavingexpertdotcom · 15/04/2010 22:46

Sorry - BlaBlah.

TDiddy · 15/04/2010 22:47

didn't think that there was a correct spelling for blaah? but thanks for clarifying

BeenBeta · 15/04/2010 22:48

Thought the apparent 'agreeing' with LibDem position that GB was doing a lot was an interesting tactic suggesting a future alliance or pact in a hung Parliament. Might backfire though.

"Vote LibDem and get Gordon" is an obvious Tory slogan.

Sky now reporting NC won the debate in their instant poll with GB slightly edging DC into last place.

TDiddy · 15/04/2010 22:48
Smile
Brollyflower · 15/04/2010 22:49

dum dum dum dum, dum dum dum dum, de dum da de dum

Also a bbc news snob who can't stand ITV news. And they have John Sergeant.

Brollyflower · 15/04/2010 22:50

On all the comment to interviewers that I've seen so far Labour bigwigs look like they're trying to prepare for a hung Parliament by aligning themselves with lib dems (who just happen to have done well)

monkeysavingexpertdotcom · 15/04/2010 22:52

TDiddy, I meant Lady BlaBlah - spelt her MN name wrong.

TheHeathenOfSuburbia · 15/04/2010 22:56

BeenBeta, I don't think the tories will use that as a national slogan in case they end up needing LDs to form a gov't.

Wouldn't be surprised to see it on local leaflets etc though (and indeed Labour saying the same thing in reverse, vote NC get DC)

Yeah, now his tones really are fatherly and hushed

Brollyflower · 15/04/2010 23:00

If we have a hung Parliament maybe Vince could be Chancellor...

TDiddy · 15/04/2010 23:02

Yes, John Sarge talks as though he is gliding across the floor. It is great.

gaelicsheep · 15/04/2010 23:02

DC came across as vacuous and lacking in policies. GB spent too much time attacking DC instead of promoting Labour policies. NC won hands down for me. I've just read the Lib Dem manifesto cover to cover and I like what I'm hearing. Lib Dems for me. I think they are the party that will wield the power after the election, whoever "wins". A hung Parliament is looking more and more likely, and I am hoping for one.

TDiddy · 15/04/2010 23:03

Sorry monkeysavingexpertdotcom

TDiddy · 15/04/2010 23:04

Clegg will go for Foreign Scretary and Cable Chancellor?
