I have decided I am not a typical voter so not the target audience for this circus anyway. What I take away from this in terms of how they come across is irrelevant. All that matters is what the majority of those who vote and watched this think. If the hot air has won them over I will be sad. I suspect NC isn't a contender because not being so is a self-fulfilling prophecy really.

I don't know how on earth you can say that DC won on the basis of substance. He said absolutely nothing. All soundbites. GB and NC talked about detail and what they would do.

Presumably the reason DC and GB don't engage with NC generally because by doing so they reinforce the impression that what he says is irrelevant because lib dems can't win
