Yes indeed America! King Charles and the United Kingdom and its Prime Minister and parliament all showed their true colours today and yesterday. Not to mention the crowds cheering Zelensky in the streets. Warmly welcoming and supporting the brave leader of an allied nation who is standing up to the dictatorial aggression of an invading state. I was so proud to be British and to see this subtle but powerful rebuke of Trump's bullying and his support of Putin. Well done Starmer and King Charles. America should be embarrassed.

I saw something that mentioned Charlie Boy was wearing a blue suit with a yellow tie so he's favouring Ukraine's colours. Reminds me of the time when the Queen wore a brooch gifted to her by the Obamas when she had to host Trump. The meeting was planned in advance. I suspect the cosy “come and have dinner at home on Sunday” aspect is new, and intended to add a bit of balm after Zelenskyy’s terrible treatment by Mango Mussolini
