What is Johnson on? Total turn around from last night and he's just lost an MP!

KingofQueens · 19/01/2022 12:12

Yep - I moved work meetings around so I could take lunch at 12!
Ridiculous - it's an utter farce. Johnson is embarrassing.

Zonder · 19/01/2022 12:20

I just can't understand why he is so buoyant now. Speaker doing a good job, I think.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 19/01/2022 12:23

Darn it. I forgot to record it. How did he lose an mp?

CorrBlimeyGG · 19/01/2022 12:25

Christian Wakeford has crossed the floor.

Zonder · 19/01/2022 12:26

It's on now. He has just said that so many people getting the vaccine is proof that people in all 4 nations support the government!

The MP said he can't work under this government I think.

A Tory MP, Christian Wakeford, has said he is crossing the floor and switching to Labour. BBC news reporting it.

Don't know if that changes the number of letters needed. Probably not this time. But more pressure.

SirChenjins · 19/01/2022 12:27

Reading it live. BJ is desperate for Sue Gray's report, isn't he? It's almost as if he's written it himself in his very best felt tip with capital letters and Wow Words and everythin'

TeaandHobnobs · 19/01/2022 12:27

@KingofQueens I love your dedication!

Starmer has been very good today. Johnson looks ridiculous - but then, when does he not?

It was fun, but I don't think anything is going to happen yet... c'mon Sue Gray! The real stuff will happen once she publishes her report (and I suspect as the result of Conservative MPs rather than any decision by the PM)

OhYouBadBadKitten · 19/01/2022 12:28

Thanks. I'm out at the moment. Bad timing.

SilverHairedCat · 19/01/2022 12:28

Utter car crash TV. Enjoying the PM. being hoist by his own petard. What a prick.

UserLibra78 · 19/01/2022 12:28

Why would he change party? Is he now supporting the Labour policy?

MegCleary · 19/01/2022 12:29

Looks unprepared using old lines, knows it’s nearly over

Loveisthere · 19/01/2022 12:29

Oh yes it is very interesting Boris laughing when he was being asked a question. Bad form on his part really

MarshaBradyo · 19/01/2022 12:30

I’m listening to it on LBC

A pantomime half the time

CamomileTeabag · 19/01/2022 12:30

We never saw the Russia Report; how do we know that the Sue Gray report will be published in full for all to read?

emsmar · 19/01/2022 12:30

He's an arrogant slimy twat of a man

jgw1 · 19/01/2022 12:31

Here's a Tory MP who says that parliament should be talking about other things.

Well there is a simple solution to that, if the Prime Minister is not willing to resign, then the Tory MP needs to write his letter.

MissAmbrosia · 19/01/2022 12:32

He just repeats the same old guff every week.

jgw1 · 19/01/2022 12:32

Fair play to the MP who has got on the record in the House that the PM is a charlatan and a liar.

SilverHairedCat · 19/01/2022 12:34

Yes, who was that MP whose constituents want to move on the story?

CorrBlimeyGG · 19/01/2022 12:35

@CamomileTeabag The Russia report was published, but massively hushed up. It said that the government were not aware of any Russian interference, largely because they didn't look. Sounds familiar!

CorrBlimeyGG · 19/01/2022 12:37

@SilverHairedCat The MP for Sedgefield, Paul Howell. One of the red/ blue wall MPs elected in 2019.

GaiusHelenMohiam · 19/01/2022 12:37

Great point about the PM trying to convince us he’s an idiot rather than a liar.

How can he stay in his job?

CorrBlimeyGG · 19/01/2022 12:38

And David Davis, Conservative MP, has just told the PM to resign.

Zonder · 19/01/2022 12:38

David Davies "In the name of God go!"

Wow!
