But your disabled child can work for less than minimum wage because it's 'therapeutic' apparently. Angry

I haven't seen this document yet, but I read this as costings for additional funding (separate to what is already committed).

They state that on Page 3, it's the first paragraph under the bullet points.

It looks like current spending commitments for now and the future are set out in a separate document. Unless these other documents say no funding is put in place for these services, then I don't read that as all funding to be stopped from 23/24, just the additional boost over the next three years.

Did you really think you would have more luck posting this on AIBU using a different name, having had zero luck on the politics board or are there really two people so lacking in comprehension?

You even used the same phrases on both Hmm

The document you are referring to literally says:

"This document sets out the ADDITIONAL spending commitments."

DebbyDance · 13/12/2019 21:33

You are so so so wrong. Its ADDITIONAL spending on top of what they are going to spend anyway. 1. IT SAYS IT CLEARLY IN THE PARAGRAPH ABOVE.

  1. If you want actual proof look at the bottom figure in each column. 20/21 is £1.5 billion. That means in 20/21an EXTRA £1.5 billion is being spent. If we do it your way that means the WHOLE of the NHS next year only costs £1.5 billion to run.

Let me spell it out for you REALLY SIMPLY.
They already have a 4 year spending plan for autism.
in 2020 they are going to spend an EXTRA 24 million.
in 2021 they are going to spend an EXTRA 25 million.
in 2021 they are going to spend an EXTRA 25 million
In 2022 they are not going to spend any extra money on top of what was already allocated.

I cannot believe some people.
