More on Trump

It is a Trump world and as the Modi saying goes

“Aab Ki Baar Trump Sarkar”

and as the Stump for Trump Sisters say

"Get on the Trump Train or get the hell out of the way"

Rock'n'roll

'There will be no case against Clinton'

Lots of analysts are saying that there will be a huge amount of stuff on the Clinton Foundation. Trump is asking foreign governments to look into what they know about it

Trump To Ask Foreign Governments To Probe Clinton Foundation

"The liberals, anti-trump brigade, SJW's, feminists and the rest. They cried enough salt to grit the Akaskan roads for a lifetime "

Graceless in victory as ever.
Why do you think feminists are crying at Trump's victory?

Lweji · 19/12/2016 22:48

If you don't want to go back on the thread(s), Magz, take a look at these lists, for example:

www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/11/donald-trump-new-york-times-interview-broken-promises/

www.romper.com/p/the-campaign-promises-trump-has-already-broken-show-he-might-be-all-talk-24024

Some people will be very disappointed as time goes.
And that's a prediction.

DeepanKrispanEven · 19/12/2016 22:49

Yes, lots of people knew Trump would win, but no journalists on the Guardian, the Times, the Indepednet, the New York Times

The problem is, claig, that this issue arises out of a statement by Southall that "All the professional journalists to a man got it wrong". Not "all journalists on the Guardian, the Times, the Independent, the New York Times". So I'm glad to see that you too disagree with her.

MagzFarquarson · 19/12/2016 22:50

Take a close look at his appointments.

Well, I suppose we'll see won't we. If it all turns to shite I'll be one of the first to apologise for being fooled into thinking that perhaps the world needed a change of direction, Soros and globalism maybe not the best way forward.

Lweji · 19/12/2016 22:51

It seems that foreign governments are looking at Trump's choices.

See previous link of Rex Exxon Tillerman and a Russian owned oil company in a tax heaven.

Roussette · 19/12/2016 22:51

I'm bored with hearing about salt on my chips, salty cocktails, salt on the roads... whatever... adds nothing to the thread whatsoever and as Bertrand says, it's graceless in victory. And tedious. Yawn.

Missswatch · 19/12/2016 22:51

Sore losers Bert. Censorship used by them won't win arguments or an election

DarthPlagueis · 19/12/2016 22:55

"Lots of analysts are saying that there will be a huge amount of stuff on the Clinton Foundation. "

There won't be, that link btw is a month old and not from a reliable source.

He said later than that article that there are no plans to prosecute Clinton.

Would this be the same Donald Trump whose own foundation was found to be in violation of the New York laws on Charities and ordered immediately to stop fundraising in New York?

BTW the biggest donors to the Trump Foundation? The McMahon's, guess who has a place on the Cabinet? Draining the swamp indeed.

DeepanKrispanEven · 19/12/2016 22:58

I think that is best answered by saying "you know journalism when you see it", have a look at the Daily Mail for a good example

When I look at the Mail, I see fiction. Have a look at that list of their admitted lies which I posted upthread and tell me what element of those amounts to good journalism.

And apparently claig's heroine K Hopkins is up on the carpet before her employers shortly to explain how she cost them over £200K through not bothering to check her facts.

Missswatch · 19/12/2016 22:58

www.breitbart.com/news/donald-trump-surpasses-270-votes-in-electoral-college-to-formally-win-presidency/

Oh wait, Breitbart said it so it's not true

Missswatch · 19/12/2016 23:02

Besides what is wrong with being graceless here? All I've seen from the left is foul play and dirty fighting. I think it's our turn

Do they not like a taste of their own medicine?

MagzFarquarson · 19/12/2016 23:02

There won't be Chelsea's wedding wasn't paid for from the Clinton Foundation funds then? Needs looking into at least.

claig · 19/12/2016 23:03

'Draining the swamp indeed'

The Swamp is not Obama's core administration or Trump's core administration. They both need Secretaries of State. The Swamp is Washington and the lobbyists on K Street. Trump may slash some departments in size, reorganize and restructure, and prevent cronyism and lobbyists throughout Washington

OP posts:
DarthPlagueis · 19/12/2016 23:04

Trump has said there won't be on the 22nd of November it was widely reported.

I don't think that after the Russia issue anyone in the Trump camp can call foul play.

DarthPlagueis · 19/12/2016 23:06

Oh Claig, you are in for such a disappointment.

Chris1234567890 · 19/12/2016 23:07

"One of the many unedifying things about the Trump camp is their total gracelessness in victory."

LOL, Ive just sprayed coffee down my nose reading this one. Grin
Occasionally Bertrand, you come up with an absolute classic. Because the 'losers' have been utterly gracious and respectful ? PMSL. Ironic post of the day.

DeepanKrispanEven · 19/12/2016 23:08

"Your turn" at foul play and dirty fighting, missswatch? Rest assured, Trump has been taking his turn for months.

Lweji · 19/12/2016 23:12

So, if the Secretary of State has personal financial and historical interests with foreign states, that's OK, not swamp? Or any cause for concern?
Interesting...

What were those things people got so incensed about Hillary again?

Missswatch · 19/12/2016 23:12

And for those slating Claig about how much she loves Trump

Let me help you

Mumsnet (you are here, a safe space)
Reddit (this is your next step)

In Reddit there are subreddits

r/all (pretty safe)
r/politics (next stop for Hillary lovers, echochamber hugbox)
r/The Donald (this is your destination. Trigger warning: This place has thousands of Claigs and upsetting content for the left)

After Reddit there is the following:

4chan /pol/ (optional, trigger warning. Will distress weak liberals)
Dark web (optional, requires certain software, suggest you don't go here)

You are welcome

MagzFarquarson · 19/12/2016 23:14

One of the many unedifying things about the Trump camp is their total gracelessness in victory. Yes, because they were the ones rioting, smashing things up and beating people up for having an opposing opinion.... oh wait no, they were Hillary supporters.

Misss, Claig, Chris, we're all losers. You just haven't realised yet that bar a few, shall we say, elite businessmen everyone else has lost. Sad

squishysquirmy · 19/12/2016 23:16

Refraining from making any constructive contributions to the thread in favour of endlessly banging on about "salt", or chipping in just to spurt coffee down your nose and wet yourself is not edifying either Chris.
