More on Trump

It is a Trump world and as the Modi saying goes

“Aab Ki Baar Trump Sarkar”

and as the Stump for Trump Sisters say

"Get on the Trump Train or get the hell out of the way"

Rock'n'roll

Those are not predictions that Trump would win.

Those are not predictions that Trump would win.

Not even Trump believed he would win, FGS.

Did you hear from him about election night?

claig · 19/12/2016 20:13

'I think Claig, your point is thoroughly disproved.'

Yes, lost of mainstream media journalists and BBC political reporters said that Trump would win the election, you are right, I was wrong.

'Not even Trump believed he would win, FGS.'

He is not a journalist. I predicted he would win 15 months ago, Trump lost the faith.

Just to be clear:

Trump Says He Expected to Lose Election Because of Poll Results

www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2016-12-14/trump-says-he-expected-to-lose-election-because-of-poll-results

Apparently, Melania has a better crystal ball.

waiting for claig to say Trump was joking there

claig · 19/12/2016 20:18

Trump wasn't sure. No one was sure. It ain't over till all the votes are counted.

OP posts:
Lweji · 19/12/2016 20:21

I am only an observer and am not invested in the result.

Ah, imagine if you were. :)

But this was the original claim:
All the political journalists, decades in the job, in the middle of campaign trails and they still did not have an intuition that something might go wrong for Hilllary .

It turns out a quite a few did.

Lweji · 19/12/2016 20:22

Trump wasn't sure. No one was sure. It ain't over till all the votes are counted.

So, you didn't actually predict anything, you were just lucky in your wishful thinking.

claig · 19/12/2016 20:23

'It turns out a quite a few did.'

Which mainstrea media political journalists and TV reporters said that Trump would win because I would like to read their articles as they know what they are talking about?

OP posts:
Missswatch · 19/12/2016 20:24

Tbh I'm tired of all this winning

claig · 19/12/2016 20:24

'you were just lucky in your wishful thinking.'

Yes, I'm always lucky

OP posts:
claig · 19/12/2016 20:25

Missswatch, is it won? I never trust the elites and their tricks. I think we have to wait until Jan 6th for more news.

....He lost the faith....

Now that is telling. Smile

Lweji · 19/12/2016 20:37

I'll repeat it:

But this was the original claim:
"All the political journalists, decades in the job, in the middle of campaign trails and they still did not have an intuition that something might go wrong for Hilllary" .

It turns out a quite a few did.

I'll keep re-posting it if you keep taking my sentences out of context.

Meanwhile, harassment of Trump electors is getting REALLY bad now: Grin

cozietoesie · 19/12/2016 20:38

Sorry.

....Trump lost the faith....

claig · 19/12/2016 20:38

A joke

OP posts:
claig · 19/12/2016 20:40

't turns out a quite a few did.'

I believe you, I just wondered who they were so that I can read their articles as they are outliers and understand politics

OP posts:
SouthallGirl · 19/12/2016 20:42

Sean Hannity? That's just one American journalist. And Michael Moore thoroughly against Trump and yet he was smart enough to predict correctly for once.

claig · 19/12/2016 20:44

I watched Sean Hannity throughout. He never predicted Trump would win, he hoped he would.

DarthPlagueis · 19/12/2016 20:44

Plenty of people noticed that it was going to be a close election, and that things might go wrong for Clinton, even back in the primaries because she wasn't that popular with many Democrats and that Trump was building up a popular vote.

But it doesn't fit the narrative, so the goals change, just like who the elite are and who the people are.

claig · 19/12/2016 20:47

You're right Darth, pity you weren't on the last 20 Trump threads, we could have used your knowledge, you sound like you know your stuff, real socialist style

OP posts:
Lweji · 19/12/2016 20:51

I've posted two cases where journalists thought Trump could win, from only two searches on two newspapers. It's a 100% result on journalists who thought Trump could win.

Lweji · 19/12/2016 20:54

And repeating again the initial statement, for your pleasure:

But this was the original claim:
"All the political journalists, decades in the job, in the middle of campaign trails and they still did not have an intuition that something might go wrong for Hilllary" .

South wasn't talking about predictions that Trump would win, but that he might win.

SouthallGirl · 19/12/2016 20:59

I had a feeling there was a guy at the Spectator, and here he is - Delingpole. Cannot find other British journalists at the mo.

www.spectator.co.uk/2016/11/its-tough-being-the-only-british-journalist-whos-right-about-everything/

claig · 19/12/2016 20:59

'thought Trump could win'

No I was talking about predictions, not he is improving in the polls and it is getting close. That is reading the polls and covering arse. That is not journalism

Professor Norpoth did predict it and the mainstream media should really consult next time as he got it right about 5 times in a row, but of course they won't consult him because he gets it right and they have to present a "rigged" view to their viewers, a BBC style view where they said Trump stood no chance
