I would never vote for...

I'm curious to know who other people would never vote for. I know that a MN thread isn't going to be representative.

'I would never vote, full stop. If voting affected the establishment in any way, they'd ban it.'

I know what you're saying avoiretre, they are all much of a muchness and Ken Livingstone wrote a book called "If voting changed anything, they'd abolish it", but it is not really true.

If you had voted Labour last time, by now your DNA would have been stored on a DNA database, you would be carrying a biometric ID card in your pocket, your civil liberties would have been weakened and you might have been on the way to a thought crime politically correct Stasi future. By voting Conservative and LibDem last time, all that was stopped and Clegg and Cameron tore up the biometric plans and srapped lots of the assaults on civil liberties.

This time it matters too. if you vote Tory, you will get an EU referendum, it is said. If you vote SNP, you will destroy Labour in Scotland, if you vote for any of the other insurgent parties you will probably force the Establishment against their will to introduce proportional representation for the next election.

It does matter whom you vote for, it does make a difference. Just witness the fear of the Establishment about UKIP, that shows that voting does change things and shakes things up.

tabulahrasa · 04/04/2015 23:53

UKIP, BNP, EDL, Britain First...not as strongly, but I'd be unlikely to ever vote conservative.

peggyundercrackers · 05/04/2015 08:06

greens, labour & SNP.

HappydaysArehere · 07/04/2015 23:40

SNP. - grrrr

cdtaylornats · 11/04/2015 12:32

Up until this year I would have said Labour but it looks like tactical voting is the only way to defeat the SNP, so I will vote Labour this time, then go home and try to scrub my soul clean.

TrulyTurtles · 11/04/2015 12:48

Any right wing candidates. And lib dems.
I'd be interested in how you see not voting would work.

LumpySpacedPrincess · 13/04/2015 12:15

I would never vote for UKIP or any of the other small minded racist parties.

I would never vote for the Tories, the way they have treated the poor and disabled has been heartbreaking, people have died because of the cuts they have made. Sad

AnnieHoo · 13/04/2015 19:22

SNP or BNP.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 13/04/2015 19:24

Any right wing party (this now includes labour Sad )

OneStepCloser · 13/04/2015 19:26

UKIP and Tories.

cruikshank · 13/04/2015 19:29

UKIP (racists), BNP (fascists), Tory (wankers) LibDem (splitting lying cunts), Green (incoherent).

LineRunner · 13/04/2015 19:30

UKIP and those to the right.
Tory, for being vile and economically insane, especially around parents with children with disabilities and additional needs.
The Lib Dems for reneging on tuition fees and failing to deal with known sexual predators in their midst whilst claiming that they were and knowing that they weren't. Yes, YOU, Clegg.
The Greens for wanting to legalise pimps and traffickers.

So that leaves Labour. Ok - but could they first just get rid of the odious Ed Balls (New Labour and jumping on unaffordable PFI, anyone?)

HayDayRookie · 13/04/2015 19:30

Labour

Roseformeplease · 13/04/2015 19:33

Parties made up of letters - UKIP, BNP, SNP.

I am one of many in Scotland who will be tactically voting to ensure that the SNP don't triumph over all.

NonDom · 13/04/2015 19:37

Labour., Liiberal, UKIP, SNP Green, Monster Raving Loony Party

Stokes · 13/04/2015 20:07

Sinn Fein, DUP, UKIP, Tory, BNP. Not likely to vote UUP, and only vote SDLP in a pinch. Living in Northern Ireland is tough come election time!

Greens, unless they supported GM food, which would save 2 million lives a year

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 14/04/2015 00:32

UKIP, rather jump off a cliff.

blowinahoolie · 14/04/2015 12:38

Tories or UKIP.

Mypubesarestraight · 14/04/2015 12:39

Tories, BNP and green.

SnowBells · 14/04/2015 12:50

UKIP and BNP.

Can't see myself ever voting Labour either - the big money spender party.

ChillieJeanie · 15/04/2015 06:40

UKIP/BNP/SNP/Plaid Cymru/Sinn Fein/any other nationalist party

Greens - I heard one of their London Assembly bods on PM last night talking about their manifesto, and their grasp of economics is scarily incoherent.

I can't see myself ever voting Labour but never say never on that one, I suppose.

HelenF350 · 15/04/2015 06:49

UKIP, BNP, SNP

littlejessie · 15/04/2015 07:17

UKIP, Tories, Labour.
