Politics

I know it's early, but I live in a safe seat and it is so depressing.

I care about politics, I always vote, but I know it won't make a spot of difference which way I vote. Sad

I would prefer some kind of PR, but there is always the "problem" that very small minority parties (potentially those with extreme views) will get MPs and there is a much higher chance of having a coalition government.

Something like the German system could be interesting perhaps.

I'm the same. There is really no point in me voting although I always do
It pisses me off that my vote does not count towards who walks through the door of no 10

Do please keep voting. It is the only chance for any change, short of revolution, and if it's that or guaranteed no change which would you prefer There has been too much of this business of tactical voting, perhaps if everyone voted for what they believed in we'd be in a better state.

At the least it is the only real chance to show the powers that be what you think. And if support for parties is at, say 20 or 50% of the whole vote but they only get 0 or 10% of seats (pulling figures out of my rear end here to demonstrate) it will strengthen the call for a better voting system all round. If you simply endorse the status quo nothing will ever change.

I also live in a really solid Tory area. I will vote to just show that there is an existing opposition.
