So... George Osborne will be standing up to deliver this year's Budget at 12.30pm, with announcements expected on property tax, stamp duty and the personal tax allowance. Here's what you were hoping (and dreading) would come up; time to find out whether George has been reading Wink

Tobacco duty to rise by 2% and will continue to rise through the next parliament. Alcohol duties to rise with inflation, except for Scottish Whisky, on which duty will be frozen, and on cider, to help those in the west country hit by the floods. On beer, duty will be CUT by 1p. A penny off a pint, says Osborne in a naked attempt to write tomorrow's headlines for all the journalists watching ..

Cash and Stocks ISAs to be merged into a single new ISA, which will be more generous, with an annual limit of £15k. Junior ISA limit up to £4k.

Pensions: all remaining tax restrictions on pension pots to be removed; pensioners can draw down as much as they want when they want. No one will have to buy an annuity. Free impartial face to face advice to be offered to everyone.

Anything you take out of your pension will be taxed at normal rates, rather than the current 55% after the initial 25% has been drawn down, says Osborne.
