With unemployment now reaching 2.5 million and youth unemployment at a record high the Tories have done so well in reaching their goals so quickly, still this is not the time to stop, 4 million unemployed must be your next goal.

How about going for a record number of rough sleepers, I know the Thatcher government has the record but surly you "bastard children of Thatcher" can do better hmmm.

And how about record bankers bonuses your friends in the City must be very happy at your capitulation, still I understand it's tough to take money from your own kind, far better to screw the poor and weak.

And all the stories about the damage you are doing to disabled children, you must be very proud.

SAME OLD TORY SCUM.

The unemployent was not caused by the Con-Dem coaliton. It was alredy there before they came to power. There woud have been job cuts under Labour anyway.

The same thing is happening in the USA for the same reasons. It is a worldwide phenomenon. Just wait until interest rates start to rise - the Bank of England is under pressure to do so because inflation is above target. Official unemployment will hit 15% and there will be another 10% under employed on part time or temp work.

I DO think the job cuts that are coming are being made in the wrong place (ie front line staff rather than management) and for that I do blame the Con-Dems.

I agree newwave, the tories are a disgrace and have shown their true colours immediately. They have done the opposite to their pre election promises. Obviously they are taking their chance while they have it, low chance of re-election!
