what is the most strangest thing that has happened to you that you couldn't explain????

Snugs I hope I did not offend you yesterday. I have been feeling like I did... and I am very sorry if this is the case. Can I lamely blame it on my Leo rising. It was our engagement anniversary yesterday and I got excited about the spiritual conversations we have shared for the past year. I do get carried away sometimes and am probably too open. Anyway thinking of you. X

Have had no internet all day - broadband server crashed - so dashing to catch up on all threads. And tonight I am going to a party (yeah - social life ) so will probably catch up with you tomorrow.

Still it was very romantic - climbed to the top of the towns cathedral... beautiful blue sky and the bells were ringing... it was emotional

Hi Clare you spelt it right.. i usually abbreviate and call it CH been there 4 years.

We have had a lovely weeken... dh as gone out for the evening so I have the place to myself !! Just put baby paps to bed, although she is loving life so much atm that she finds it hard to settle she is so excited

hehe aww it is the most magical age I think but still as long as we promote it I think all of a childs childhood can be magical.

ooooh read something earlier that you may like to try... it's moving things with ur mind and the test is very simple..

U have to get a candle in front of you (lit)

sit down in front of it and focus on the flame.

totally concentrate on it and command the flame to move to the right

You must imagine a force of ur own energy press on it from the apropriate side ( just as you would if you were trying to push something over.

and what should happen is the flame should start to lean over.

I haven't tried it yet but apparently is the same energy you use to make a penulum crystal move when dowsing, gonna give it ago as soon as poss sounds fun..

so what are ur plans after baby paps is snoozing??

been on the fone.. twas my dads birthday today so rung up and yakked for ages... I do miss them loads.

My dh has family here... but his parents and one sis are in NZ. So no one really that close here.

I have my spiritual family here on which is a real solace and explains why I am so addicted

off to bed now.. ahve a new pillow i can´t wait to snuggle in lol I love going to bed get all excited! Talk tomorrow XX

Hi girls - sorry if I've missed you (enjoy the new pillow Paps). Was determined to have a computer free day (fat chance!) but here I am .

Party was small but fun - ended up discussing spiritual stuff as there was an unexpected guest sat next to me for most of the night who was determined to make his presence known. Eventually felt obliged to tell the hostess and then (lo and behold) he seemed satisfied and left. At which point I happily returned to other spirits in the form of vodka!

m&s - I have tried the candle thing. Have had some good results, making it dance really high can be fun too . By the way, are you mobile yet?

happy u had a good time last night, I thought maybe u were abit hungover hence not being around today

am going to look for a new brum tomorrow my childminder pam is taking me to look so fingers crossed should be sorted. A wee bit concerned about work though as I took all wk off last wk but sure I can make some excuse

Do you know snugs if it's ok for little ones to have camomile tea??

thought maybe it would help DD2 go to sleep as shes still awake...

According to this site, it is used as a relaxant for children with insomnia, but doesn't give any specific lower age limits.

Found loads of references to using camomile for colic so guess the lower age limit isn't a problem!

I'd go for it hun, plus maybe try a couple of drops of lavender oil on her pillow or sheet.

PS - yes to hangover, didn't get home until after 2.30 this morning - wide awake the minute I walked in the house! Decided to watch a video, thought it would make me get sleepy again. Guess it worked, I woke up on the settee this morning when the kids dived on me at 7.30am

Do you know, I honestly don't know who drinks what - I conveniently wander into the kitchen after the drinks have been made . But feel free to bring some - I am always nagging mum that she doesn't ask for contributions although people seem to just bring along bits and pieces every week of their own accord.

It really should be ok.... just the work thing as I work in the evenings and I didn't work at all last week due to the transport situation, although self employed, kodak ( the company who get my appointments) can stop giving me any if I take loads of time off. I think I can get away with one more day though.

If they do become funny though I may have to work as it's the family main source of income

but I have changed the nights I work last week missing out monday and instead gonna work saturdays.. had to give 2 wks notice though

Just don't go getting into trouble - you don't need to lose the job.

Although surely if they know you have transport problems they can't get too picky can they?
