M22 - Was approached by man who has caused her a lot of trauma - He is legally not allowed near her and she has contacted Police. Prayers for protection.

Podglet - Household has been ill of late, prayers for healing; and prayers for resolution of two complicated decisions: Whether to have an elective C-Secion and to know what name to call her new baby. x

QueenofQuotes - Things are very bad with her DH atm and she thinks they are going to split up. Protect her and her precious DS' Lord. xx

Praise for fantastic opportunities for DH's business to flourish Prayers for DS' x-teacher who collapsed in class with stroke the other day, he is only in his 20's! Prayers for DH's best man who has recently lost his dad and for Sooooz's post lady who has also lost her dad. Prayers for her collegue who has just split up with her DH, they have teenage children

bobsmum - Prayer for BIL who is now in a care home since DH's MIL who was his carer died He has Alzheimers. that DH's new job is going well, prayers that this may continues. Prayers that BM's SPD remains bearable.

Podmog, they have your love, and you care about them and their lives, and that's pretty much enough, honest it is. Trust that love is enough. Trouble is, when children reach a certain age, I think it does bring back childhood memories, and those are so difficult to get through alone.

Praise the good lord, I have been offered a new job at work, you are now looking at 'little old me, a swimming instructor'

I am sooooooo happy, feel very honoured, but don't start until I have completely recovered, I am signed off work for another week, still dizzy and feel faint!

DH has been off work 2 weeks with this lung infection too, please god let him get well for Monday, he has a garden makeover to do whilst a customers wife is in malta, (as a suprise) all very exciting!

Oooooh you put your finger right on it Suze! I feel the serrpent around me too atm! I'm having a bit of a rough time. I'm also leading the service and preaching tomorrow morning. Please pray that it all goes all right and brings glory to Jesus (the King! which is what my talk's all about! Woo-hoo!)

I wasn't going to say anything, but I don't want to go to church today either, I'm in what I can only describe as "an unsociable mood", where I just don't want to be around people. I feel like this from time to time, but have never voiced it before...

Maybe if we can hold each other in prayer?

It was a good service, the music chosen for it was LOVELY and uplifting, but I stumbled over the prayers a bit. The mike hadn't been put out, and the cabling got caught up in the shelving for the hymnbooks. I managed to free it up enough to get it vaguely in position. I managed to say one of the prayers TWICE (then apologised - doh, should have carried on as if I hadn't noticed! ). I felt a complete idiot.

DS played up during the service too. He sat with the Sunday club until they all went out/came back, but was making an absolute racket during communion. I'm still waiting to hear whether I'm going to get any flack for that... , as I was sitting with someone else (the lady who was recently widowed).

Just trying to catch up and failing miserably. Am not enjoying the pg at the moment soooo uncomfortable and achey. had a routine appointment with my consultant on Thursday, he was on hols so saw one of his team, who doesn't know my history. She was lovely but when she measured me and found I was coming up 5cms bigger than I should be i.e 38 cms, not 33, she panicked a bit, which stressed me out and before I knew it, I was being rushed down the corridor for an emergency scan. Turns out I have the polyhydramnios again (excess amniotic fluid), which although worrying, at least I am clued up about. I have been told now that because of my c-section scarring and general hugeness that she could be even earlier than DS was (37 weeks). So DP and I have decided that we are going to ask for a planned section for 37 weeks. Prayers appreciated for the consultant's agreement and for my anxiety please???

Mary - dh has come home and told me that at our service tonight a line had been left out of the powerpoint song words for one of the hymns. So that threw the whole congregation - and the music group. Hymn ground to a halt and there was then some toing and froing as they tried to fix it rather than just moving on as well I read your post to dh - he said 'oh good it's not just us then'

Tell him, his was worse than mine!

Praying for all those who hurt and struggle with day to day life. May God send the healing touch of Jesus into their lives, that they may know the light of Christ and feel Him working to lift them up high above their problems, shielding them from misery, enabling them to rejoice in his great glory. Amen

Praying also for RL today, may God guide her words and actions, and give her strength in adversity, so that all may know she is called by Christ to minister to His people. Amen

Oh Panda! Glad to hear you're feeling less stressed - what did you do about your night out? Did you still go?

Harvest sermon, I THINK I know what I'm doing, it came to me in the night. I THINK its going to be on words that can be made from the word Harvest - including Share and Starve. Maybe pictures on Powerpoint of harvests - successful and failed ones. Maybe mention organisations that work with poverty, Christian Aid, Tearfund, etc. Finish up with having 2 groups of children, one twice the size of the other, but giving 2 loaves of bread to the smaller group, 1 loaf to the larger group.

How does that sound?

Hello all! Mary thank you sooooooooooooo much for your prayer! I really need it! Although I'm feeling pretty chipper this morning.

I'm facing a few discouragements atm about ministry - this last week has been hard. I'm going to see the DDO (the Very Important Man) this morning to talk about Spirituality and the church. I'd really really value your prayers for clarity and quickness of thought (I need that in these meetings!) and for Jesus to be glorified through me today. Thank you!

I will catch up wit hthe thread later properly - I feel a bit cheeky just coming in and asking for prayer!
