Share your experiences with psychics

I'm contemplating visiting a psychic or palm reader to give me some insight on where my life is heading.
My question: are psychics real?
Anyone have experiences of psychic predictions that came true or just experiences of things they knew about you before you opened up to them?
Please share and advise. ❤️

My mother is mates with one
she went for a reading and this lady got some things right
like,my brother would have trouble in his workplace but would stick it out-he’d be happy with the company when he did leave
another brother would never get married or have his own kids (he hates kids now he’s older) he’d also find a job soon-he’d meet his future girlfriend within it
my other brother would get married soon (within the year) but they’d struggle to have a baby-in fact she didn’t see one for them
A baby would come into her life very soon,and this baby would have a biblical name but he’d be the last and the one to look after her in her old age-oh and he’d have no middle names
I’d meet someone,he’d be from down south,he’d be a lot older than me and we’d set up home in my hometown and be happy

all came true,but she got so much wrong

3 days after the reading,I found out I was pregnant-9 months pregnant-I gave birth 6 days later-I gave him a biblical name-with 3 middle names
However,not the last-I had 3 more babies after him and my mother is getting older-it’s his older brother,my nephew and my brothers that will put up with her in her old age cos I’m not doing it (I’m nc with her due to her abuse)
I did meet a southern man-3 years older than me and we set up home 130 miles away from my hometown
My brother did get married-9 years later and they have a ds now
my other brother did stick at the job but ended up suing them when he left
brother 3 did find a job-it took him 8 years (he just sponged off my parents after leaving school) and he’s never found a girlfriend through it

a few years later,I got the chance to go have a reading with her,she told me I needed to get a better job and I’d ‘be richer than my wildest dreams’
utter bollocks-I’m in a shitty job (that I do enjoy to a degree but it doesn’t pay well at all)

I'd guess she just wants to let as many people as possible know what they're really getting involved with before it's too late.

I think the thing to consider is what this does to a person psychologically. As a Christian, I think about also what it does to faith. We don't need to know the future. Faith isn't faith if there is no unknown aspect. Warnings from a psychic could certainly kill faith and almost mentally haunt somebody. As for closure when somebody dies, whilst the grieving process is individual, I would still question how it brings closure, to hunger after contact and to get it could become quite a psychological dependency. And to make a living from all this? It's very easy to see, for me, how the practice is seen as wrong.

sorry but have to disagree with you. James Randi was very much like Brown. Insisting they are all fakes is ridiculous. There are lots of fakes but it is unfair to say they all are. Randi and Derren make a fortune out of spouting this, and nobody is wise enough to see they do it for the fake and money. Yet they are quick to say it is wrong for a psychic to do it for fame or money even though most of them barely make enough to live on and Randi and Derren were rich off the back of it.

I consulted Beth Shepherd, a tarot card reader, she is in the UK but I had to consult her online as she does not do face to face meets - I understand that as she is a lady living alone and said she had had some dodgy guys visit, pushy, too friendly, you know what I mean. Some of them get it into their head that the tarot card reader is really a pro who is using that as a cover - all sorts of ridiculous stupid dangerous ideas. Anyway she was very good. I've been to others that are very good too. But maybe only one in 50 is worth consulting going by my own experiences. It is no different to many other things. You can get fifty people claiming to be good at singing - yet one gets paid work and is popular and the other 49 nobody wants and have to make do with singing at karaoke for free.

I had a recent reading with a "psychic". She said she was getting the initials BIN and when I said I couldn't place them she said that it mean't I needed a clear out. At least it had comedy value but what a waste of money.

I think there are some good psychics/mediums but they are rare.

I have had many readings over the years and what makes a good reader tends to be the ones who are word of mouth so their reputation speaks for themselves.
Everyone has psychic intuition, some just channel there's better. Personally I study astrology and have given accurate readings based on that. People who want a reading generally are at a crossroads and want some clarity. If you find comfort in that, then crack on.

I was very skeptical however visited one. Told me something she could never have known. We got my mums and Grand parents grave cleaned and stone work renewed and she mentioned this. I can't explain it.

I have this weird thing that i feel. It's a four pointed star
I've had it for 7 years and alot of weird things have been happening
I had these weird green dots that followed each other in straight line for 2 days
I've been see the future through dreams. But there little bits not much
My eyes and plams feel like fire's heat
It feesl like sometimes i have horns and a tail and eyes all over my body
The four pointed star sometimes feels like like a over heated lamp

Could please help me?

@Fourthstar, what you have written sounds like it could be due to neurological disturbances. Maybe get checked out to ensure there is nothing wrong.

Occasional grains of truth but by and large a waste of time and money.

In college my roommate's best friend. She was just a regular girl, not trying to be psychic. She had an interesting look, bright red hair, very white skin, but her eyes were so light she looked blind. She seemed kind of autistic.

She walked around with a tarot deck and was always pulling cards. The first time I met her she did a long psychic reading for me and her comments were so specific to my life. Her intuition was on point. She was genuinely gifted.

I love watching Tyler Henry - his series on Netflix is 'Life After Death'. I was sceptical at first, but it had quite an effect on me.
