walnutshellpersonally i sort of pray as I go along but not doing so well at it atm.

Right on a positive xh has his driving license back so thankyou for all your prayers.

I have sorted out the mortgage xh has to stay on the mortgage until the money he gives me is classed as child maintenance ie. stamped by the court. So for another two years he's on the mortgage, but will be taken off the deeds by the court.

I've had a good day today just pray that it continues but thats what I hate about this is that I can change from one hour to another its so anoying and i've discovered today that because I take ad's life insurance is going to rocket. How flaming annoying and stereo typical that all people with depression are likely to go out and commit suicide.

CaptainCaveman · 18/01/2008 21:16

Great news NSFN - praise God for your xh getting his license back.
at life insurance going up though.
My income protection plan can't be increased at present - because I take ads! And I've never had any time off work when feeling bad but that doesn't seem to matter

My advice (and please ignore it if it's useless!) to you is to take each minute/hour/day at a time. Gradually you will find you no longer look out for your feelings/moods changing - and then you know you are much better! I am praying that your ads work quickly and well for you - what did your gp give you? ((((((NSFN)))))

Praying for you too Rosey, may you find lots of God-inspiration when form filling and session planning!

Sabaidii - praying that God inspires and directs you to help those you are seeking to help, and that His blessing is over you whilst you do so. Praying also for your friend, may God guide her, strengthen her and support her.

WS - my memory is AWFUL so I usually pray as I read the posts. I read my bible guide just before I go to sleep and bring everyone's name on this thread before God. I figure that even if I can't remember every prayer request - at least God knows who I'm praying for. And if I'm v tired and can't remember everyone's names, then I pray 'for all my lovely friends on the Prayer Thread whose names don't spring to mind at present, but you know who they are Lord'

CaptainDippy · 18/01/2008 22:43

Praying for SE Asia and for you to be inspired and lead, Sabaidii. xx

Nope, no girls clothes required here, Sooz - thank you for offering though my lovely!

Hello Amber! Welcome!

Glad all is much better with your DD, Panda - good stuff!

Praying for you as you fill in this application thingy (technical term ) Rosey - I can't stand stuff like that, so lots of sympathy, love and prayers headed your way lovely!!

OP posts:
Notquitegrownup · 19/01/2008 07:55

Good morning all.

Sabaidii praying that God's peace and power will be soverign in your situation, and that you will know Him with you.

CD - praying for your application. Sounds -very promising.

Welcome Amber! You sound busy! I'm NQGU, with two dss, aged 4 and 7, both very energetic sporting nutcases. I work part time although I struggle to fit in work as well as family, church, school commitments, and life in general! (Hmmm - a bit less MN time might help, methinks!)

NSFN at shortsighted insurance people. Grrrrr. at dh getting his licence back. Thinking of you.

Walnutshell - I usually pray as soon as I have read the posts (mid life memory crisis), and then sometimes pray again when I am driving, walking, hoovering as special thoughts and needs come to mind. We can sometimes get rather busy on here, but I am sure that different people respond to different requests. I also have a general "Father bless all the dear people posting on the MN prayer thread and hold them close to you today" prayer, for busy days.

Hello everyone Early start in the Notquite household - 3am for me!! I think I might be getting better - at last - from my virus, and my body was awake and ready to go, so I've been cleaning out kitchen cupboards!!

God bless all.

Morning all! Think DD3 is stirring already ...... Oh well .....

@ you cleaning and sorting the kitchen cupboards at that unearthly hour, NQGU!! Well done you though! I've just sorted out the cupboard where we keep all our crap useful stuff & the tumble drier; so have been vaugely productive.

Praying for you and your 4 little lovelies Podmog - not easy without DH around (hope he enjoys himself though!) Praying esp for DS1 and his high temp and asthma. Praying you all stay sane!

I do pray as I go along and I pray at random times of the days when little things that people on the thread have mentioned pop into my head. I also print out the summary (when I manage to get one done! ) & put it up on my study wall as a reminder.

OP posts:
CaptainCaveman · 19/01/2008 14:11

Hey guys

praying for you all. Am feeling v tired today (up at 7 with ds) and ms almost made me think I had the norovirus!

emetophobes you may not want to read this!
Played hockey then made it to the exit of the sports ground before I had to jump out of the car and be sick - nice classy look!

Thank you all for your prayers, I had the ofsted home inspection yesterday at home, to register as a childminder. It went really really well, I cant believe how peaceful I felt (well I can because you prayed and God answered, thank you God!) and just before the lady arrived a friend from church called me and told me to go and read psalm 20 out loud as a kind of statement prayer, it was spot on. very uplifting. Anyway, lady was here for 3 hours!!! but we had a good chat and I mentioned a few little things about church etc. she said she will recommend me, we are just waiting for one form to come through from the dr, so please could you pray that happens asap as I have two people waiting for me to register to look after their lovely LO's. am going to go through thread again and note down prayer requests and say prayers tonight in bed. God bless you whatever you are doing this evening, hope your evening and night are as peaceful as possible x

CaptainCaveman · 19/01/2008 20:40

Thanking God with you Podmog that your ds is ok (ish!). Praying that his recovery is speedy and he is back to his normal self soon.

MaryBS · 20/01/2008 13:06

I nearly cried this morning in church... for the first time in over a year, the lady saying the prayers for intercession, prayed for strength for me in my ministry. I can't begin to tell you how much that meant to me.

I know how much you've been praying for me, and I thank God for you all, every day, but it gave me such a lift to know my church was praying for me too! (where's a crying smiley when you need one???)

PandaG · 20/01/2008 14:37
