Praying especially for MHD and JanFeb’s daughter.
Also praying for all who are preparing Holy Week/Easter services.

Hi all, my family and I are travelling over the next few days. I’d really appreciate prayers for calm,safe travels.

Despite lots of travelling as a child/ teen, I don’t really enjoy it and it exacerbates my anxiety. Thank you.

Will pray definitely. I feel your pain though as felt the same way during travel earlier in the summer. Try breathing exercises and prayers to St Dymphna help.

I think travelling when younger is different though - you just feel more responsible for everyone as you get older.

I'll pray that you have a relaxing time time Orchidflower - I'll say a special prayer on Sunday in church.

Could I ask you to pray for my son, R, as he tries to decide whether to go to University in a few weeks time please? (& you might pray for me too? He is Autistic & I'm quite worried about it all)

I am praying for your son R, median. I pray that whichever way he decides, he feels the peace and comfort of God’s love as he goes forward and that the decision is the right one for him. I also pray for you median as you watch and care for R. I pray that you too feel the peace and comfort of God’s love for you.

I also wish pray for your journey Orchid, and that you feel peace rather than anxiety.

Please can I also ask for you to pray for my sister and her 3 children, particularly over this weekend and the coming week, for God to be with her and the children. Thank you.

I used to work with students with autism at Uni providing support - I will keep your dear son in my prayers and you too. I hope it all falls into place for him.

Please can you pray for the holiday bible club I'm leading at church starting on Monday (21/8) through to Friday(25/8) with the celebration of the club being the Sunday (27/8) morning all age service? I'm nowhere near as organised as previous years and the to do list is very overwhelming, despite help from a great team. Thanks xx

Just popping on to say you are all in my prayers ATM. Sending love and extending Christian sisterhood across the miles.

Praying for the people caught up in the conflict in Israel and Gaza right now. I feel so devastated by the latest news coming from Gaza and all I can do is turn to God and pray that He is with those who are suffering tonight. Praying also that His hand is on those in positions of power and He grants them the wisdom to resolve the situation quickly without further escalation and loss of life. Desperate desperate times.

Praying again for all those suffering in Israel and Gaza. For all those working for peace. Also for Ukraine. For the world leaders as they navigate these difficult times, that they work for peace and feel God guiding them in their decision making. I pray for all those suffering in other countries forgotten by the world media.

And I pray for all those suffering in this country, those struggling at home caring for family members as the NHS and other services seem to fall apart. I pray for all those working for the NHS/services as more people leave and are not replaced, leaving those who remain with an even greater workload and those experiencing burnout.

That's a nice prayer. I am praying for the health of my dad, that he will be okay and live a good quality life until he's 80.

@Donhill that was a good prayer, I’m praying for the same and for my brother who has mental health difficulties and is about to be discharged home. Also for everyone on this thread as Christmas approaches, I find the season can be a mixed blessing, good to catch up with friends and family but also a lot of work and stress sometimes.

Thanks TheGander! I would really appreciate prayer for my son, who is 20, to become a Christian. He was brought up Christian and isn’t anti-Christianity. He did most of an Alpha course recently. But he isn’t actually there.
