Hello everyone. First time here and a little apprehensive! I attend a small Presbyterian church. I was raised as a Methodist but they don’t have them here now, only Uniting. I was a Baptist for many years but left just before Covid because I found it difficult to cope with our new Pastor who is a nice man but I didn’t agree with some of his views. Not that it matters I suppose, faith is the main thing and I came to believe late in life after many years of nominal Christianity.

Welcome Isoqueen. I've been on here for years under various usernames and it is a friendly little corner of Mumsnet. Although we come from different Christian traditions everyone gets along.

Welcome, @Isoqueen. I came to believe relatively late in life myself. I was an agnostic before that.

Hi all. I'm a long time lurker who delurked and made an account just to post on this thread. :)

Can I request some prayer? Currently going through infertility as my husband and I have been trying to have a baby for 16 months. I'm currently debating whether to keep trying, get tests or go down the adoption route (something I've always been interested in). I don't feel I'm hearing from God about it and it's having an impact on my faith and mental health. Would really appreciate any prayer!

My small church has a membership of about 60, usually a few visitors each week as well. Thanks for your lovely welcomes. I missed church today because I have a heavy cold, didn’t want to spread it round.

Hello everyone, please may I ask you to pray for my lovely sister-in-law? Her cancer has returned and this time it has spread to her lungs and bones. The prognosis is not good. She is only in her early 50s and her children are late teens / early 20s. I'm in tears writing this. Thank you for reading.

Can I ask you to pray for my younger sister too? Stage 4+ neuro-endocrine, palliative care. She's 48, and up to now had /has no reason to believe. Pray she will come to experience the overwhelming love and mercy of God, through her suffering
