The old thread was nearly full, so here is a new one. Oldies and newbies, chat or prayer, all welcome. Praying especially for *MHD* and *JanFeb’s* daughter. Also praying for all who are preparing Holy Week/Easter services.

@TheGander - prayers for you and your brother. Sounds like the rehab centre is the best place for him and I hope he finds his strength and purpose.

@mathanxiety - prayers for you that there's nothing too complicated going on and you're feeling much better very soon.

Thank you too to @JanglyBeads and @ohyouknowwhatshername for your prayers. Have just dropped DH off at the hospital. His surgery is scheduled around 3pm and then hopefully he'll be home tomorrow.

Long time lurker on this thread. I live in an atheist household and, although I love my family, I find this particularly difficult at Christmas time. I thank God for my church family who I will be seeing tomorrow.
I just want to wish you all a very happy, peaceful and blessed Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all, wishing peace to all. I lurked on this page during lockdown when a family member was undergoing surgery and was very grateful for the prayers and thank God things worked out well.

What hope and joy! I was thinking about Mary recently. Am not Roman Catholic but do like reading a Catholic devotional or two and watching Catholic content on YouTube. Anyway, being immaculate and free of sin, amazing! Then, the distinction between her and Jesus - free of sin is pretty divine after all...I read she grew in faith. Is that the distinction? Still pretty awestruck. Anyway - all joyous!

Just wanted to reach out as today I feel that the people who should love me the most, my own flesh and blood, are the reason for my pain and unhappiness. They're 15 and 14. They're great kids, it's just tough when you're on your own isn't it.

I pray that the Lord will support you as He promises to support "widows and orphans". And that just when money seems insurmountable, He provides - as I've experienced several times. Xx

Hi! Great to see this thread revitalised. @ladybee2 - I hear you. Also struggling with anxiety here (I am wondering if it’s the age of DC - also 12 and 14 - or my age of menopausal weirdness at 49). Anyway sending you solidarity and prayers. If someone could pray for my DS (14) and his relationships with his friends, I would be grateful. He is overly sensitive and takes slight and the tinniest thing. He needs more resilience and to be able to forgive people. Thanks

Hello all, longtime lurker here. Asking if you will add your prayers to mine for my DD. She's having a rough time at the moment and is very unsure of herself. She is a beautiful soul who lacks confidence and who doesn't believe she is worthy of the love being offered to her. Thank you all
