I’m struggling so much and no one seems to understand what ptsd is never mind how it effects me.

Becca - I've just read all of the thread in the 30 days section. I am sorry for everything you are going through. I wish I had some words of wisdom, or that I could be there to advocate for you. Praying that you'll know the peace and strength of God with you as you go for the examination.

I have just read your thread Becca and am so sorry for your situation. It sounds so hard with no obvious ways through. I will be praying for you, that your health will improve and that proper support for your physical and mental health will be provided. Also for those who are or should be giving you care.

Thinking about your own prayer you might like to look at the Psalms. Some of them can be hard to read but they show how it is ok to be honest before God in our prayers. You can tell him exactly how you feel about what's happening and then ask him to be with you and to feel his comfort.

Becca. Meant to be at work but will look at 30 days later. Will remember you in my prayers. I am Sorry things have got so bad but I know its been hard for you for a long time.

I was actually popping on with an urgent prayer request. I need all the help I can get. My MIL has been diagnosed with womb cancer. Tomorrow we find out how serious (stage 1,2,4 etc). Please pray for her. She is only 69. Not so young, but I'd reckoned on her living a long life like her parents. We don't want to lose her. My children in particular would be devestated as she is such a good grandmother. Thank you.

Praying for your mother-in-law Zennudist that medical science may help her but also that, whatever happens, she will feel the peace of the Lord around her. Let us know how you are getting on.

Thankyou all. Situation ongoing. All options terrify and it’s paralysing, particularly when ptsd gets triggered in public.

I pray the psalms routinely, but struggling to keep those who’ve asked or on prayer list in prayers, and, feeling guilty.

@ZenNudist keeping your MIL in my prayers.

Becca I read some of your thread. Too much to take in. I'm worried for you. Not maybe the right thing to say here but there's prayer and then there is letting people help you. Please let people help you. I am reminded of this joke. Excuse my insensitivity. I know I haven't a clue how hard life can be. Please let people help you.

Dutch thanks re MIL. It's the proverbial mustard seed that bothers me now.

Becca you focus on you. I will pray but get what help you can. This has been going on too long. It less important right now that God loves you (he does but...). How about: you deserve a better life? You do!

Hello, may I join this thread? I’m feeling very low about many things. But also feeling like God isn’t listening to my prayers anymore. I’ve been very ill lately and also my Christian best friend is going through a breakdown and cut ties with me. I miss him dearly and I feel bereft without him.

You are very welcome ForgetMeNot. Sometimes it becomes just too difficult to pray and sometimes that doesn’t matter. Sometimes we need to let go and trust that God will still be there when we come out of that desert of the soul and it becomes possible again. God will gently hold you and if you can visualise that tenderness and love, it does not matter that you cannot find the thoughts and the words that constitute active prayer. I do hope and pray that you’ll soon feel better.

Thank you for the kind welcome and prayers. I feel quite desperate- things went from bad to worse last night as we all got hit by Covid.

The one thing that would bring me strength to power through is for my best friend to get better mentally and talk to me again, I miss him so much I feel broken and bereft. He always made me feel closer to God.

For my entire family to get Covid after everything else is a huge blow! I feel despair and anger. I don’t know where to begin.

How do I get through this season?

Praying for everyone on this thread sorry that I’m such a misery! I’m usually happy and bubbly.

Forgetmenot, that is pretty awful, I hope that you all recover very soon. I pray that the peace of God, that inexplicable peace, beyond understanding may overwhelm and comfort you. I also pray for whatever earthly help there is available to come to you. Hold tight, rest in the secure knowledge that God is here and He will help you.
Beansprout welcome to the thread. A threatened miscarriage is an awful thing. Is this your first pregnancy?. I am really praying that the scan will reassure you. Let us know how you are getting on, won’t you?
