Congratulations gothicmama and the nursery is very beautiful.

My kids have left cards and the fairies have made a mobile above the crib spun of spiders webs.

I am lolling in front of the fire eating crumpets and reading Thomas Hardy.

Papillon · 08/10/2008 08:28

Congratulations Gothicmama, good to hear from you

The bees fly above tonight, a group of them are travelling through the lands, tasting wild nectar, making honey for the mead that mends any, and all winter chills of visitors to the Land.

The hives hang strong, storing their potency in the trees.

glitterfairy · 08/10/2008 15:01

Pappillon, I am glad you are back here again I like your name so much.

I have just finished a jar of honey in rl so will fill up here! I will make honey cakes to go with the mead.

Today I sense change in the wind and the sharpness of my breath hangs in front of me in the air. I climb to the top of the waterfall and watch a storm with thunder and lightening and sheets of rain drifting down the valley and through the forest cleansing and removing dead wood.

After the storm it is quiet and fresh and there is a rainbow suspended above the lake of glittering stones.

Papillon · 09/10/2008 20:21

...although AnnaVissi writes so well!

The storm charged up the Yurts batteries, the ropes connected to the trees, harnessing the Great Power of the wind, sails of the forest as they swayed in the storm. The motion absorbing and bringing wind energies, light and comfort to the humans in Bong Land.

The squirrels of the forest bought their gatherings and made Bircher Museli with seeds and nuts, dried fruits and the lovely wild honey for breakfast.

glitterfairy · 13/10/2008 07:57

I have been to the market and brought a new dress today as well as clothes for the children. They have new soft boots and snow boots for the snows to come along with gillets made of fur. I have a russett coloured cashmere dress and I have cashmere rugs for us all soft as silk and warm without being heavy.

Whilst I was at the market I got a selection of new coloured lanterns for the trees around the yurt. They are jewel colours purple, red, blue, green and amber. I have strung them in the trees and the fireflies will light them later.

I am spending today in the library reading and catching up on my sleep.

Papillon · 22/10/2008 04:24

Today I feel to swim along the coast to the cliffs of Lake Bong and meditate. The caves in the cliff have many fine seats of comfort. I will watch the sun sparkle on the water and the birds fly in the wind gusts.

glitterfairy · 23/10/2008 19:02

I have decided to go an abit of a walkabout. I am going to swim, run and ride for miles and visit the four corners of the lands. I will only take a small amount of food and some water and will keep going each day resting by night in my reindeer fur sleeping bag under the stars and eating by the light of a camp fire. Each night I want to sleep exhausted and wake ready for the testing day ahead.

I want to be cold, tired and aching in every joint but still happy and thinking of nothing but where I will pitch my camp and letting the sights of the land take away my breath from lake to shore, mountain to sea and forest to prairie!

Papillon · 24/10/2008 21:18

I wave from the cliff tops Glitterfairy as you swim by them, then grow into a dot in the matrix of landscape.

After you pass, I will return through the forest to the Yurt. There I will ready our home for all the party goers !

The year of the Rat, this halloween all the small furry rodents in the forest will come and bare their teeth and entertain us with their greatest scary moments and truths of Fear.

As I have a bit of a thing about rodents my outfit is going to have a high neck, a corset and no sleeve for them to be cheeky, run up and scare the beejeezers out of me!

glitterfairy · 25/10/2008 18:49

Oh paps I am not that keen on rodents either so will copy your outfit.

I am exhausted after my trip but have touched every corner of the lands and was cheered to see you on the cliff top!

I have bought back something from each corner in order to help deck the yurt ready for halloween. I have a seaweed tribute with dancing starfish, a bouquet of grasses, a rock of many colours from the mountains, some glitter pebbles form the bottom of the lake and berries from the forest.

I am looking forward to the party and the singing red squirrels a new band of forest folk.

Papillon · 02/11/2008 06:06

Have been deep in the forest near the entry to the womb of collective energy. The dead pass there, and many people have come to witness and bring others, those who only see danger and fear cast, to show them the feelings of honour at subterranean ways of Being.

The wyrrd shaman created light shows amongst the trees, while the squirrels and rats dart along their limbs sending shivers down the roots and up the legs of the people. The ground becomes unsteady and another realm merges into view.

Demons are not popular, the collective energy womb shows a lost honour of the crazy one, that which teaches us unwise habits, that which hold inner peace at bay.

Random weather patterns form and crazy winds move in electrical intent, in a purpose of showing what moves within the current of the clouds. The realm before the people shows not only spirit forms leaving, the consciousness see all the astral cords attached to our bodies moving and interacting at Will in the people present.

A great sensitivity to intuition lights a dome above the crowd which is seen at the Yurt. The squirrel band play a tune which sends musical chords of static over the forest towards the dome. The static of multiple realms, simultaneously opened and harnessed by people is very strong and gravity becomes lighter.

That was alittle scary but the teeth of the goul is not amongst us.

glitterfairy · 03/11/2008 12:32

Talking of realms opening how is spring going in the spring part of the Yurt and lands? In mine we are into winter and snow, frost and roaring fires.

I feel that doors are opening wherever I go at the moment and the air is full of possibility. As I walk the lands I see change and new growth alongside death of the branches which are no longer needed for healthy growth and of loose stones on the mountainside revealing clean pure rock.

Papillon · 14/11/2008 06:47

Spring is dry winds, lukewarm temperatures and not much rain - north there is more rain and south more cold. But here is temperate, the realm is clear long days that split over the ocean waters far in sight.

The Yurt has been busy with wounded family that has occupied much time as well as the normal duties. Also it has been birthday season and the childrens parties have been fun and plentiful.

glitterfairy · 14/11/2008 17:33

Birthday season is spring in our family as well Paps so next year now.

I like the sound of long days and am having a sun fest on the deck only good sun in the lands with no ill effects but turning you a lovely gold colour.

I am enjoying a peaceful snooze in a hammock and listening to the bees and the insects and some lovely blackbirds.

Papillon · 23/11/2008 05:19

The donkeys are becoming fat while their Mother takes sedentary leave of her accustomed duties. She observes the comings and goings at the Yurt entrance while her leg slowly mends and heals. She calls to her daughter instructions on how to harness the cart to take the donkeys on a journey to rid them of their excess fat. The summer days slow the grass growth, so some respite from overeating naturally comes to pass as the summer season temperatures rise.

The daughter will drive the donkeys and their cart into the forest, to begin recording radio shows about the trees and their nuturing bounties.

The thistledown tree will travel with the daughter so she can siesta in the hot afternoons and sleep late at night.

glitterfairy · 23/11/2008 20:35

Ahh we should send them to my end of the lands where the winter chill creeps into short days and we miss the heat and sun. The trees here have frost making them white skeletons and there is thin snow on the ground.

The only green is the holly, yew and pine and the fallen twigs snap and crunch under our feet. On a log a robin sings and puffs his red breast and fluffs his naughty feathers.

I have lit the fire in the library and am toasting crumpets while reading books and settling back in the purple velvet sofas.

I am thinking about Yule this year and a proper celebration with a lord of misrule and hot wine.

Papillon · 25/11/2008 08:17

It was a day of cakes, popcorn, ice blocks and ginger beer. The children played freely. It was a celebration for a boy who is became 3. Now as they sleep, the air cools and the night darkens. The gardens are watered. The mother rests in quiet peaceful solitude.

Dreams are nearby and they beckon to soothe her brow, not to cuss her in harried dreams. Dreams that have been let go, but still stir to cloud her reflection in the moonlight pools of the forest.

The Thistledown tree shushes gently in the slight breeze, reassuring her, in reminder of all her blessings and loved ones.

glitterfairy · 25/11/2008 19:55

Congratulations to that boy and his mum paps!

Ahhh the thsietledown tree will be needed tonight and I will rest on a cloud branch. I will lie wafting under a huge moon looking at stars and resting whilst the nightingale sings in my ear.

Papillon · 05/12/2008 21:06

The Little Sweeties dance today - the Jelly Babies, Ice Blocks and Sherbets. They wriggle, dance and writhe in the Sanskrit ways of togetherness. Their divine wee hearts show a passion and imagination beyond their mere mortal forms.

Many creatures of the forest are drawn to watch the Little Sweeties. They nod their heads, their eyes reflect their understanding and blessings.

All the mystical, magical beings of BongLand come dressed in their finery, enchanted by the small humans, whose auras sparkle with silver and gold. Many take their wands and hands to the sparks and weave pictures of bunnies, flying ships and unicorns in the sky.

glitterfairy · 06/12/2008 12:09

Meanwhile back in the forest the sage elders are gathering for the solstice. The trees are whispering winter secrets and the mountains echo with empty calls for the coming of the light. A huge pile of old and diseased branches is being collected for our fire and the trees will be renewed in the flames.

In the yurt we are hanging holly, yew and ivy with a smattering of mistletoe from the apple trees in the orchard. I am baking and cooking huge stews which we can keep in the freezing caves in the mountains until they are required.

We have a range of pickles, jellies and jams and stores of fruit gathered from the Autumn alongside squashes and potatoes.

The market is selling wreaths and festive dresses I am wearing red velvet today.

Papillon · 08/12/2008 07:08

Red velvet sounds lush, as its summery here, I will just wear wreaths

dd is becoming an accomplished hoola hoop dancer and and is doing wreath hoola in the market today, whilst I shop and wander about looking at all the wonderful solstice sales.

There is a man in down under corner selling Kanuka trees, they are tall and are in flower, the white flowers look like snow. I will take one for the Yurt so we can have a living Solstice tree.

Excellent idea storing food in the freezing caves. I will bake lentil and bulghar wheat pies that will keep well in the mountain caves.

glitterfairy · 08/12/2008 08:05

Paps Kanuka looks really pretty and that is a lovely idea. As the yurt is a magical place we can plant everything we bring in after the solstice.

It is winter here and snowed all last week and in my part of the lands the snow is thick and luscious crisp, deep and white. The children are building snowmen and having snowball fights and sledging. There is never slush here and the snow is anti slip apart from where it would be best comedically. The fairies have made an ice sculpture of animals of the land.

Papillon · 15/12/2008 18:19
