How nice it will be to be at home in a Yurt in rl and have such history and journeys here, when you walk inside what you feel and think inside yourself

This weekend in the Yurt there is a corner which remembers Spring, a Creative Garden Expo will pay homage to Life as Autumn begins to cycle in the land of Bong

The blossoms of Spring I will bring to the table, as the tree ripened fruits of Autumn are placed in bowls, the scents will mingle and know one another

glitterfairy · 07/09/2008 17:28

Ahhh Paps how odd that the seasonal shift is the opposite where you are.

I like the idea that within the yurt we can bring them together and celebrate all together. Cycles of the world uniting in one place. All seasons are possible here. Then in the midst of winter when I am sick of rain and wind I will come here for some of your summer and enjoy the heat and variety of foliage and flowers. When you have got over hot you can come and admire the frost and the snow and the glints of sun between the sculptural shapes of the winter trees.

Perfect.

Papillon · 08/09/2008 21:38

Great visualisation glitterfairy I like the bounty of seasons and cycles uniting here

Today it is my Birthday in the Land of Bong, All are invited to come Be Festive with dancing, eating and storytelling. There are surf board bunny displays on the lake waves in the afternoon, the kids will hold on to their tails. Hang on... Whoooaaaa lol - I am going to join them, after I have been to the markets to buy myself presents and talk to the stall creatures about tonight. Then after surfing I am having a massage, and spider web wrap, very cleansing, closes any gaps in the aura.

Hope everyone enjoys my Birthday Party tonight!

glitterfairy · 09/09/2008 10:30

I will be there Paps and Happy Birthday.

I am bringing a present of a shawl spun by the silk form the glowworms in the forest and decorated with gems from the caves in the mountains. It has been died to resemble the sea by the merfolk and thus encompasses all areas of the land except the prairies who have sent a new grass for you for the garden. They are calling it Paps grass LOL!

I am out collecting acorns today for the red squirrel colony and then am coming to watch the bunny surfing.

flax?

Papillon · 13/09/2008 06:04

Yes, flax is a mild laxative

glitterfairy · 13/09/2008 09:40

I enjoyed your page 3 paps!

Am having a massage and a nail bar day today in order to rest and replenish. I think my toe nails will be bright red with stars of glitter in the centre. My fingers will have a french polish and my nails will never split again.

Afterwards I am lounging on the deck and eating mangoes from our mango grove.

Papillon · 14/09/2008 20:41

today I gallop on Spirit Horse up into the canyons of Bong Land. The hooves echo in the gullies and the birds rise cackling at our disturbance. I find the canyon I seek, there is a small waterfall at the end, for the horse to drink from and shade to rest and graze in.

I begin to climb up the rocks, till I come to a ledge where my spirit will sit quiet taking in the view before me.

glitterfairy · 15/09/2008 08:02

I am soaring in the mountains today with my eagle spirit. Together we view the planes and the prairies seeing with my eagle eyes the small things hiding in the grass. The earth is teeming with miniscule life which I only see through my eagle eyes.

Yet my wings take me far and wide grazing the skies and skimming the rocks of the mountains. I see groups of mountain goats and snow leopards and a wonderful family of bears.

Papillon · 16/09/2008 21:13

Today I walk with young woman and my children into the forest. The trees will show a different way of looking at wilderness, a mini course on survival mode and transformation. A step away from lollies, sweets, crisps and social conditioning.

Weaving stories, listening to the trees speak, watching for birds, taking a step out of themselves to discover the world around them.

In this way I will rest, restore and rejuvenate myself in the peace and quietude. My physical comfort important, but not lavish. The needs of the wilderness and myself being met in a comfortable environment I love, with the trees, that seems supportive. Today I want to be surrounded by those trees that protect me.

Last week we lost a dear friend here in rl, a work mate, a lover of the nature and children. Three trees I heard, have gifted their life and made a space for a resting place for her in the ground. A tree is felled for her planting thousands. Wetlands received the tears of Father Sky in honour of her passing. Mother Earth took them deep into the Wetlands and sent out her story and work into the rivers so all will sing and harmonise of a woman and her respect for the Plant She was Born to and Stood Upon. To live this way, is to bring the very Magic to Life that People cannot yet explain, but sense its presence in my ways in their lives. The most important thing is to Be Open to the Magic and FEEL
Blessings

glitterfairy · 18/09/2008 22:19

nameste paps and the force of those who have gone before will continue through the lands giving us pleasure as we felt when they were with us.

We feel them in the spring as things bud and blossom and we smell them in the smoke of autumnal fires and the blessings of the harvest; we watch the leaves dance in summer in remembrance and joy that once they walked amongst us and in winter their outlines and ghosts are seen in the sculptural frost rimmed shapes of trees and bushes.

In the air tonight I feel the keen scent of winter and I draw nearer to the fire and curl upon one of gothicmamas purple sofas reading my book and listening to the night owls. I have a dark cup of chocolate with chili scenting its molten depths adn as it swirls in my mug I see shapes forgotten which are reflected in the fire and logs before me.

AnnaVissi · 21/09/2008 10:25

Today the children and the adults planted trees by a lake, then after a picnic and a play with baby calves, the children enjoyed a ride in the trailer pulled by a motorbike. We went to a place that is protected as a rare natural treasure. A reminder of the past, when the trees lived amongst the water, wetlands. Walking into the past, a memory and insight into of nature once was and how little there is left.

Now it is time to rest and dream, dream to the trees and how they brought innocence and wonder to my heart.

I(paps)

glitterfairy · 23/09/2008 22:35

Anna, I am in need of spiritual refreshment today so am spending my day at the lake watching the stones glitter and the rainbows of the waterfall. Colour light and life are all here in the water.

Take care friend

AnnaVissi · 26/09/2008 10:06

Down through the quiet waters on the canal, the Kahikatea punt travels slow and languid, torpor in the trees, the birds sleepy in the canopy and the people restful and at peace in the boat. The canal is one artery upon wetlands that carve the bones of the land to its will, making what it needs and desires to create natures reality.

The stories of such journeys breathe lessons upon the bodies and souls of the people, the ripples pass onwards until the canal never stops being reshaped, reverted and reborn in its journey of what Is and never what has been, or might have been.

glitterfairy · 28/09/2008 10:20

That was mesmeric anna.

I am in Sunday mode today and lazing around in fluffy slippers on the deck drinking coffee and eating croissants whilst the sun shines down on the children playing all around me.

Later I will go into the glades and dells of the forest where the fairies play at night and pick mushrooms for a soup tonight.

AnnaVissi · 02/10/2008 20:33

Her hair once long and golden
was all she saw
as her gaze hung in the river

till the day she became a kowhai tree
as the the taniwha came and cast a spell upon her form

now once a year as the kowhai blooms
she sees her hair long and golden
drunk by the bellbird and tui
torn and eaten by the kereru

her tears are golden seeds
that she now gives to the river
to plant anew upon the riverbank

AnnaVissi · 02/10/2008 20:37

I lie in a hammock, warm wind gently rocks me... my mouth is slightly open and the healing tree above drips nectar down my throat soothing a cold that as tried to eat me up. Cept I wont let it in so it stratches like a chicken on the surface. The nectar is powerful, the cold has no chance with me.

thinkingmum · 03/10/2008 10:50

lovely, lovely poem Anna, thankyou.
Touching in to say hello, have found a place like this through yoga practice of late, bringing much needed relief. For the first time I visit your land and feel it's true form, have glimsed in the past but shyed away and now shall leave not shy, but happy with a warm glow in my heart.

glitterfairy · 03/10/2008 17:59

Hello and welcome thinkingmum.

Anna lovely poem.

Tonight I light the first big fire of Autumn in the library and watch the flames as I eat my squash stew. I read and lie quietly on the squishy purple sofas thinking that tomorrow I will stray into spring with Anna. I will watch the shoots on the trees and collect dandelion leaves and other leaves for a salad and spring soup tomorrow night.

I stay here now with only the flicker of the flames and the crackle of the apple logs from a fallen tree to mar the stillness which surrounds the yurt tonight.

AnnaVissi · 03/10/2008 21:32

I float, I float I float on a boat
and my boat is made from a leaf
Its a leaf boat and it rocks and it roars
and I hold on!

and then along comes a fish
and the fish is bigger than me

so I skip and I hop
and my feet dont stop
till I reach the safety of the shore

and I pull and I reel
at the the line
by the shore
till I pull in that great big fish

then I call up my mates
on my bongian horn
and they walk, and they run
collecting wood as the come
and we have barbecued fish for tea

thanks fish!

and welcome to thinkingmum, always welcome

now that I have a big belly full of fish and the offerings of the gathering I sit with glitterfairy, new and old friends and watch the flames and feel the silence as the golden seeds bob by...

glitterfairy · 04/10/2008 19:59

LOL Anna! I enjoyed that poem and that fish.

Your poem before reminded me of the Lady of Shallot by Tennyson which I had as a child in a wonderful book beautifully illustrated and so I am repeating a part of it about you.

There she weaves by night and day
A magic web with colours gay

Another verse as well

And moving though a mirror clear
that hangs before her all the year
Shadows of the world appear.

Yes this is Anna and the lands. So tonight I continue to use this poem to say that it is a purple night in the lands with starry clusters bright and a meteor bright is burning over the lands as we sit together. We sing the song of the lady together and enjoy the breeze on our faces as the mer people join with us.

gothicmama · 07/10/2008 13:51
