Hi Sooz, no time to explain now, but if you like I'll post it here, or in chat if you prefer (so I'm not taking over this thread!).

My reason for being is........hmmm...God knows, but sure aint for worshipping some "man" up there... anyway why does God ALWAYS have to be male???

I feel we are an individuation (soul/person) of the singularity (god). God is not a separate being to us, we are god , in physical. We are all one , we just appear to be separate.

The reason for our creation is to experience love in physical form and the stuff of life (illusions such as need , desire etc) is the context within which to experience it. To create what and who we are in every single moment. Its not "so much , "who am I" ?, its more who do I want to be now.

I would say though that for me, I felt "healed", both of my depression and a few other things (like anger) about 14 months ago. I believe I was healed for a reason, so that I could do God's will. Its been a journey of discovery for me ever since!

Oh and allgonebellyup, personally I don't believe God IS male... or female. I just believe that its a gender that a male dominated society has assigned to Him. God is genderless. However, for ease of use, I tend to refer to God as "Him".
