land of litotes

I did not now what to call our new vision land thread. Always wishing to imagine and roam I picked a word from random in the dictionary, cause I did like AT ALL the description they had for visionary. Hence we are the land of litotes. Where the quiet messages are found for those who look for them that vision of farness beyond the self bringing greater insight, intention and bearing into ones own life and into all things.

glitterfairy · 10/08/2004 21:43

Hi guys my birthday is the 15th! Will be at Beetys and celebrating with her. Yes can come to any virtual party and would love it am very touched gmama.

Papillon · 11/08/2004 09:22

My my it will be a busy day for baking cakes in the Yurt. We could have a tiered cake, a layer for each of us according to flavour requirements.
So you lot are all Leos but that is my rising sign so the Virgo will elbow her way into the Leo party thata way!

Gothicmama how are you doing? Very quiet these days, are you still decorating the house etc...?

Right today I am off for a massage, relexiology, haircut They do flashing light pigtails, glow in the dark dreds and my favourite butterflies on a halo mane

wobblyknicks · 11/08/2004 09:24

hi paps!!! Fairy hairdresser sounds excellent!!! I'm after you then - and I'll have the perfect style that only needs to be brushed through but instantly looks gorgeous with no styling - and highlights that never fade or grow out!!! And then I'll have a shoulder massage!!!

Papillon · 11/08/2004 09:29

Wot wobbly not keen on the glow in the dark dreds. They are very persasive and watch out they don't highjinks you with a norty fairy spell. You straight locks might curl up at a moments notice and then you would be curlyknicks
Might make you dizzy all that straight, frizz, straight frizz motion!

OP posts:
wobblyknicks · 11/08/2004 09:35

Umm, think I'll leave the dreads for now. Anyway, I've got poker-straight hair that WILL NOT stay curled for long - all the fairies of the world don't have enough power to make it frizzy, trust me!!!

glitterfairy · 11/08/2004 11:21

Swap you then WK as mine is curly curly curly! Also mad and orngey red now. Might try a few glow in the dark dreds.

Paps can my tier be Chocolate with nuts please and loads of creamy ganache icing but also marzipan? Not sure how this would taste but these are my faves.

wobblyknicks · 11/08/2004 18:36

gf - will happily swap you then!!! Mine is medium brown with hints of copper when the sun shines on it, shoulder length and chronically UNcurlable - that suit you?? All you have to do is wash it with nice conditioner and brush it - thats all its had done to it so far in its life!!!

paps - can I have my tier as chocolate cake too please - really moist, with loads of chocolate chips in and some chopped up hazelnuts, walnuts and pieces of candied orange peel in, and then loads of fresh whipped cream on too!! And no calories of course!!

Papillon · 11/08/2004 18:50

is your birthday coming up wobblyk as this is a birthday tiered cake, perhaps you can have a slice from each tier - I am sure most will contain some form of CHOCOLATE

but will deliver specially for you a big choccy cake with candied bits, nuts and niceties to the Yurt if you so desire one for your carpet stash!

Glitterfairy I think glow in the dark dreds would suit you perfectly. My visit to the fairie hairie today was full of temptuous and startling delights, as the winged ones were experimenting with flavoured and pyro hair extensions. Needless to say the butterfly halo was not in approval of nearby exploding strands of hair. So I just got afew raspberry flavoured extensions which taste right zingy.

Sibble I am delighted to hear that Max has arrived and hope that ds1 is a continual source of angelic assistance.

OHMYGAWD Ive just got rid of all my choccy in RL so as treat in here, for my birthday tier, I would like : madeira sponge with dark choccy ganache centere and chcoccy and coffee icing with walnuts crusted in sugar oh and some sugar flowers also covered in a sugar crust. OOOHH yUM I am in heaven just thinking about it. what am I to do for choccy cravings now !!! Ill have to eat it virtaully of course. Thankyou in advance paps for this wicked indulgencing moment!!!

wobblyknicks · 11/08/2004 19:37

melsy - you're mad to chuck all your choc but you'll be healthy so I have to salute you!!!

paps - thanks, a cake for my carpet stash sounds brill!! My birthday has just been and gone - 23rd July - you must have been the only one that missed the EIGHT threads that various naughty MN'ers started in my 'honour'!!! So if its ok, I'll have a slice from each tier belatedly - YUM!!!!!!!!!!

glitterfairy · 11/08/2004 20:49

Not sure about the healthy wk am convinced chocolate is the only thing that keeps me from drugs! Also doesnt it have anti depressant qualities and vitamin B? Anyway this is what I tell myself when I am eating it in vast quantities and even JK Rowling says it keeps the dementors away.

wobblyknicks · 12/08/2004 09:35

Well thats true gf, but there are lots of other things to keep you cheery and happy, they just happen to be less tasty!!!

glitterfairy · 12/08/2004 10:20

Also possibly worse for you health wise like alcohol! Cheery and happy things would be a good thread may start it what makes you happy type thing now then can think of a few just for starters off to start this in chat I think.

wobblyknicks · 12/08/2004 10:24

gf - I was just thinking about little things that make me happy this morning!!!

glitterfairy · 13/08/2004 09:02

Hope you are still feeling happy wk I liked your list.

Today in the land I am going to have a summery day as the weather here is yuk. I am going to the sea spa, the brilliant 100 degree sunshine which doesnt burn and there are no clouds and the sound of crickets and cicidas.

I am then going to have my fave fairy helper bring drinks out to me cooling sherbet adn cakes from the yurt and pour oil over me whilst doing my toes and fingers as I lie on my very comfortable sunbed made of thistledown from the paps thistledown company.

Oh wistful wishing!

wobblyknicks · 13/08/2004 09:10

Feeling a tiny bit fluey gf but generally feeling very happy.

Can I join you on your summery day - the weather here is SO wet!!!

Papillon · 13/08/2004 09:12

Wet here too... its just the weather getting all the moisture out of its system so it will be fine FINE fine for the PARTY

Good morning Wobbly and Glitter

I think if you do not mind glitter I will tag along to the summer room and for the fairy helper pampering
