just wondering if anyone wants to talk about these. The struggle for power and the neverending source . I think I have managed to get me head round them but am unsure how to start this . so open floor

OP posts:
wobblyknicks · 04/08/2004 11:30

By the way paps, thanks for copying all that out. Have read through it again and forced myself to slow down and go through all the steps to refocus my energy and its actually worked. Has a lot to do with the fact dd has just gone down without much fight for a nap but still, am feeling a bit more refreshed already - ta.

Without wanting to sound egotistical, if I get a chance to sit quietly and focus on myself, and my good points - what helps me cope with current situations, that seems to help raise my vibration quite quickly. Also, just out of the window I can see the big tree in our garden and someone elses garden behind that so it looks like a little slice of a field iykwim.

Sorry if I'm rambling but would be interested to know how everyone else gets their energy up.

melsy - would it help if I type out the love exercises later?? (will save you getting RSI too paps!!)

melsy · 04/08/2004 11:38

Which one is that wobbly?? Is it in the 4th isight?? that would be great thank you.

wobblyknicks · 04/08/2004 11:39

will just get the book, check and type it

wobblyknicks · 04/08/2004 11:49

ok, sorted out confusion - won't type anything then!

sibble · 04/08/2004 20:39

hi all, jsut wanted to pop into this thread to say I have been following it if not contributing. am having trouble focusing on anything other than baby related things at the moment but a boost of energy and a revisit to the experiential guide would probably be helpful to clear my mind at this moment in time. will pull it out of my hospital bag and hopefully contribute later today (DS pending).

As the thought pops into my head and following on from wobblynicks post, for a quick boost of energy (instead of carrying out full meditations) I visualise energy flooding through my entire body, coming through my pores, head, everywhere and negative energy leaving. The energy is usually white but I do not dictate and allow it to be whatever colour it wants to be. I get the most out of doing this when sitting on my deck overlooking the fields and trees. I always feel much calmer, energised etc and able to deal with the situation or day.

wobblyknicks · 04/08/2004 21:13

hi sibble - don't blame you for being baby-orientated atm - how are things going?

Glad to know you're still following

Papillon · 07/08/2004 13:40

I sense a wobblyknicks nearby - hows the celestine going for u?

wobblyknicks · 07/08/2004 13:44

paps - you are VERY good - how on earth did you know?? I just have to do bursts of posts else I'd be on here hours catching up!!

Its going quite well actually - just had a huge coincidence - yesterday I got told by the nurse dd couldn't have an infanrix vacc because the mercury one is perfectly safe and the infanrix hasn't got enough pertussis protection and today I come on and there's a thread saying the mercury one will be scrapped because its not safe enough!!! So back to the nurse on Monday - going to have great fun reminding her how right I was all along (thanks to the might of mumsnet).

Managing to keep my energy flowing, I think - most of the time anyway!!

How are you?

Papillon · 07/08/2004 13:53

I am well. Quite busy entertaining a friend of ours from NZ and running around outside amap
Almost no time for coincidences°!°
Although I am playing with time and some sycronicities as the days pass abit at the moment. I almost like to see them more than large ones. Makes the day take on deeper levels.

wobblyknicks · 07/08/2004 13:55

It's good to see the little things as they happen more often and while you're getting on with something else, and it does make you feel like things have more meaning.

Papillon · 07/08/2004 14:02

Yes meaning, and direction. Like I can feel the pattern, the fabric of the ciphered life for a moment. When to me, I see that chaos is such a large part of our evolutionary makeup and lifes infrastructure is the outer skin we place upon it. But it is transparent and accessible if you know where to look, pause and feel. Can you see it that way also? Or does this make any sense!

wobblyknicks · 07/08/2004 14:05

Don't worry - that makes perfect sense. And its as though everything's so interlinked with everything else that to most people it looks random and unexplainable - but thats because in reality everything is so well laid out and well connected to everything else - iykwim.

Papillon · 07/08/2004 14:12

Yes, I must say that one thing I really miss with spirituality in an open form like this, is that group work is hard to find and jel with. Great to have this medium to discuss. But I liked the concept and feeling of pray when I tried it with Christians once. I could feel the power and energy that could be manifested and know that this is a good way to generate it. I would love to do this more without all the handles of religion and references to God attached.

wobblyknicks · 07/08/2004 14:15

Yep, same here - would be good to be able to have the 'company' of other people interested in roughly the same area as you but without having their exact beliefs forced upon you. When you feel you have to conform to someone else's beliefs exactly, it takes the joy out of being with them and doesn't let you express yourself or have a chance to share how you feel about things. And I find it also gets boring easily because you can't easily find a point to connect on and so, for me anyway, you end up feeling too detached from everyone else.

wobblyknicks · 07/08/2004 14:17

I'd love to talk to other people in Rl about this but usually they either aren't interested in spirituality or, if they are, they have their own 'brand' and assume that is all-encompassing and always right, so they don't have the time or the will to listen to your thoughts about spirituality and life.

Papillon · 07/08/2004 14:20

Yes and it is such a money making business, holistic spirituality. Like some religions it has the crutch of healing, rather than being a free service. At least then it removes too much doctrine I suppose. But then also detracts away from working easily with others as much.
my dd is now awake so must away... have a good day wobblyknicks!

wobblyknicks · 07/08/2004 14:23

But what it removes from the doctrine it just replaces by the money culture - nothing's about the principle any more, everything's just up for sale - in endless books, talks, and everything else you 'should' buy.

Got to feed my dd so I'll have to go too - you have a good day as well, hope you're not TOO busy!!

tinytoes · 07/08/2004 14:55

hello folks
been reading your thread hope you dont mind if i add my twoppence worth
i have read the cp book(lent it out to ?) but its quite a while ago and have forgotten a lot of it(would much app. an update to jog my mem)- or i'll have to get my lazy legs to the library!
on the subject of coincidences(interesting subject as well) a couple of weeks ago i was driving along thinking about personalised reg plates looked at the car i had just caught up with and the reg is dig jen(jen being my name) further along the same journey i was thinking of plates i had seen with my initials and at same moment saw a reg ljc(mine are jlc!)
these may sound farfetched but they are totally true
another coinc. from earlier this year on my first hos. check up when the mw asked me if i had a name for my dd,when i said maybe lily may she told me that was her cats name!!!!!!!!!!!(i believed her as well) just thought though maybe she says this to every one'oh yes my cats called elizabeth annabel too'!!!!!!!!!
bambi06 yes ive had an aura photo done too its very intersting.what was really int.was that everyone elses that day that i saw was completely unique(which i pionted out to my skeptical dp)
my friend an experienced psychic and medium(no less!) showed me two of her photos ,they were amazing and very unusual ,one was just gold light all around (wow)
on the energy concept i love meds (but sadly never find the time).meditating is esp. good for energy- meditating light colours etc
anther nice one is to imagine a walk coming to a river(take time to look around smell pretty flowers etc)when you get to river stand under the powerful water fall an let its wonderful cleansing nrg tumble through you cleaning your nrg and replacing it with new clean stuff!!
wow forgotten how good meds are ....must find the time(give up mn maybe?).from this med you can go on to re energise all you chakras individually(imagining them as spinning disks of the appropriate colours)
(phew!.... hope i havent bored you all senseless)
back to proph. i think energy is easier to understand if you remember you cant always see it,it is everywhere(except a vacuum) and it cannot be created or destroyed-its on a universal cycle-(eg reincarnation)-this his how others can take it from us(my friend calls these people psychic vampires) always remember like bambi06 says to keep spiritual protection -imagine you travel everywhere in a sphere of light that protects you (topped upwith med and breathing exercises).you can ground your energy too by imagining deep roots growing from your feet into the ground!(this is simple and always feels good)
ill but out now -but just let me say energy work is great fun that if you work on your energy everyone will see the difference(and you can have great fun with it or use it for more serious matter-like healing)
hope i havent sounded too pompous here or bored you all to death-its just that im really interested in this sort of stuff and have a great teacher in my psychic friend!
maybe we should start a med thread!!!!
phew im gasping for a cuppa!!!

tinytoes · 07/08/2004 15:01

sorry if ive gone on too much.....
i have a habit of not knowing when to stop
hope its not too patronising either-i didnt mean it to be if it is

wobblyknicks · 07/08/2004 15:07

I don't think you've gone on too much or been patronising, but be warned I'm not good at writing long replies so often sum up my feelings in a reply like 'good' when I usually mean more!!

I agree with what you said about auras and coincidences - I really believe in both of those, especially after reading c p (think you should borrow a copy, IMO there's too much good stuff to summarise).

And for the energy, atm I don't rely on seeing it but try to feel it instead and that seems to help me 'see' it because I feel it internally first - iykwim. Its almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy, because you feel it you 'know' it must be there so you don't need to see it urgently.

You haven't bored me to death certainly, and am always interested in chatting about it more. Think a med thread would be good - I've really got into that strongly lately too and although I don't do it 'properly' (ie don't always follow a set routine etc etc) it works for me and I enjoy it, which is the whole point.

tinytoes · 07/08/2004 15:20

yes your right wk i wish i could find time but im in babydom at the mo.
of course ikwym!
energy work is very interesting you can feel it(with hands)sometimes and see different nrgs too , though i agree with you usually get a 'feeling 'for it
i have done some group energy work which has blown my mind!!!!!!!!!
now wheres that cuppa.........

tinytoes · 07/08/2004 15:22

oh and i always wonder if your nicks are wobblier than mine(wheres that girdle that my gran used to wear!)lol!!!!!

wobblyknicks · 07/08/2004 15:29

babydom always takes over everything else!! Would love to do some group energy work, its fascinating - just talking to some people gives me a rush of energy whereas some other literally are energy vampires.

And please don't ask if my knicks are wobbly - you'll start everyone off AGAIN!!! Some MN'ers are obsessed with my wobbly knicks (even though they're not wobbly in the slightest - they're perfectly fitting actually!!). If you snoop around chat you'll find about 8 threads that were started regarding my knicks by various reprobate MN'ers a few days ago!!!

tinytoes · 07/08/2004 16:00

have read the m2s rvk thread lol
i havent read the others thought i might be intruding but now ive talked to you and mum2st ill go ahead
still havent had that bl88dy cuppa
what an addicto !!!!!!!
