No, she is the lady with the chiara malformation. I have 'known' for about 8 or 9 years.

Ah, Dutchoma. I hope the surgery is successful and that it relieves her symptoms due to the malformation. And a swift recovery.

adds chiari malformation to things not to google. everything seems to be linked to hypermobility or autism somewhere. suffering from googleitis! especially as I need to go to the gp and ask them if some random symptoms I have are linked to hypermobility, which might have been t he thing that did for my dad. (it would have been his birthday in a couple of days so a bit agitated and had a flare up of weird symptoms)

anyway prayers for room. prayers for an actual operation rather than some vague worry....

Good for making it on time BES. The coough is stil pesky, especially when lying down at night, there is this curious feeling that elderly whales are having a conversation about the weather in windpipe. I saw the doctor this morning and he said that although I did have a temperature, there was no sign of a chest infection. He reckoned that it would be a lot better by the end of the weekend, I do hope so as I am getting pretty fed up with it.

Her husband posted yesterdy that she was out of surgery, and in intensive care. It appears to have gone well, but it will be a long recovery.

Oh Oma I have been reading back after dont mentioned about the operation. I somehow overlooked it. I remember noroomforalittleone - I do hope and pray her operation went well.

I am very tired so quickly saying prayers for all. Dont i pray that you are managing to get some good rest and the pain is receding a bit. You are doing fantastically well day by day after everything that happened in the accident.
Thank you also for your kind words at the beginning of the week. I am praying for clarity and strength as always and for some kind of message to know what on earth to do. Which I think is trust in the Lord and act out of love for DC, not fear of H.

Oma I pray for you, for your health to improve and you to be able to get back to the things you enjoy socially.

And bes for working appliances!

Bloomed and clementine and everyone else I am not including as falling asleep, may God be with you and you be held in His love. I pray that for all of us.

Prayers for room. Sounds very painful for her. A pain-free and speedy recovery to good health.

I am back in hospital. They headache started on Wednesday and ended up not responding to painkillers and anti-sickness meds. I spent since Wednesday in bed. The headaches got too bad and dh took me to casualty and they gave me intravenous morphine and anti-sickness meds. I had a brain scan which looked ok and in the night my headache got worse so I had more morphine and another brain scan. Thankfully they look ok. I am having regular observations and they are coming up ok. I might be able to go home today I guess late afternoon time. Fingers crossed. I also need a pressure test on my eyes which I haven't yet managed to have at the opticians due to me squealing and jumping. Confused and I last had it done when I was well.......Blush

Good to hear that your husband was on the ball and took you straight back in. It looks as if you have had good care. Take it easy and gently my love, my prayers are with you.
