PositiveAttitude - for her whole family, but especially her DD1 who has been depressed, her pregnant DD2, her mum and dad, her DH and his work. Above all, we pray for PA herself, who is always there for others when they need her, for her studies, and for a potential house-move.
QoF - for her relationship with her DH.
SESthebrave - for all who are grieving over the loss of a friend from church, for work-related decision-making, and for the friend who was Best Man at her wedding whose relationship has broken down following his wife's infidelity.
SouthernLassie - for her relationship with a colleague.
sweetandsour - for her auntie who has been diagnosed with cancer, and for her mum and all who love and care for her auntie.
Teallove - for her to feel free to move on following the breakdown of a relationship.
Trazzletoes - for her 6-year-old DS who has previously had cancer and who is now unwell again - praying for a swift (and hopefully reassuring) diagnosis and for Trazzletoes and all who love him at this worrying time.
Tweebee - for her DS to settle at nursery.

Praying through and in a bit of a rush but couldn't not post to reiterate re what was said about your posts mad. There is little you have posted on 'those' threads that I haven't read even if I haven't commented and I am and have always been so thankful for the way you have put across the fact that you don't just blindly believe but that you have reasoned thought and intellect behind your position. You have given me so much food for thought, reassurance and strengthened my faith hugely. So please keep posting on those threads (although I wouldn't blame you if you didn't 
) and remember that I am sure there are many like me who devour what you write but don't have the eloquence or depth of knowledge or courage to delurk and contribute.

I'm so grateful and honoured that people would say that - it's funny, whenever I've been in the midst of these threads, I have felt this huge sense of God's presence - the Holy Spirit working - just filling me with strength and joy, even in the very worst ones where I'm shouted down and can't seem to find the words - there's something about just going ahead and posting anyway that somehow brings me closer to God. I'd kind of forgotten that, lately, in the rush of life, and I mustn't. I do want to help people think if God has given that to me to do.

I spent some time in the garden this evening weeding round my flower beds, before taking DS to the park. These are the things which are beautiful, thanks be to God.

My current prayer is the one Tuo posted recently - on the strength to stand against injustice. So necessary. I was feeling sorry for myself this morning, and then I had an image of women and mothers across history and today in zones of conflict who deal with and live with so much more than me. So, I pray for all of us, and for the strength to stand with what I believe, and to do what I can for those who need help.

Hi liberty - welcome! I'm a clergy spouse (or spice as we're often called.) there's a great clergy spice FB group, pm me if you'd like details. But yes do join in here, you're very welcome! We did once upon a time have a clergy wives thread here on philosophy/religion but its lost in the ether of time. Happy to join in a new one though. But this thread is a lovely place for support.
When you say new posting - has your dh just been ordained - have you just started curacy, or have you moved posts to another area? We're in limbo at the moment and it's pretty unsettling.
Trazzle - I loved hearing about Joe skipping to school. I can just imagine him with a big smile on his face. What a little star. Praying for you all.
