Christian Prayer Thread. Back to school and into Autumn

As we were nearly at 1000 posts and TUO is both very busy and away today, I thought I might have a go at setting up a new thread.
I have looked back over nearly four months of prayers, of sharing, of support, of gladness and sadness and so much more. I think there are about 50 different people on the thread, some are there from beginning to end, some come in, are here for a few days and then don’t post any more.
Both are valuable, all are welcome, we share with you in anxiety and depression, in worry for others, but also in prayers answered, wonderful healing, good exam results and so much more.
But we also realise that life moves on, that the prayer thread was helpful for a while and is not so relevant now. Never be afraid to come back, we all need prayer and support.

So, like TUO I shall pick out a few names for the new thread, but leave behind some that have not posted for a while, hoping that they will come back and update us.
Specially thinking of: Anjelica27; I know how much this thread has helped you. Bsshbosh and wondering how she is now.

Whoagirrrrl, after her operation. Dizzydaffodil, Pandora37 and PeterSpots .

There are so many more names to remember: Alittleroom, Bluetinkerbell, DontstepontheMomeraths, Howtoapproachthis and several more.

And then the ones that are quite recent like:

That is great news dont - praying that things will go well for you all now and praying for peace and relief from pain for your dad, hope the indigestion meds help with the gastritis.

Sorry for another radio silence recently. blahblah lungs and all that. Third week of strong antibiotics - these ones really take it out of me, sooo tired.

Hoping you feel much better soon Madhair and the antibiotics kick in. You poor thing it sounds nasty with three weeks of antibiotics. No wonder you feel tired hoping you get lots of rest.

Struggling to stay on top of things atm. House move has got complicated (I'll spare you the details) and work is piling up. Everything feels a bit frenzied and out of my control ( not that I'm a control freak, oh no, not at all )

Praying for everyone, but especially for health for MHD, for Don't and her dad, for PA and everyone affected by her mum's illness, for Anjelica, for Oma, and for BES. And for anyone I've forgotten. I'm not a great contributor to the thread atm, for which I apologise, but you're all often in my thoughts.

Tuo - just wanted to say that I hope things go smoothly for you with the move and your work too. Very stressful time I imagine so I will pray for you for things to go smoothly and for you to feel more in control again. Thanks for your prayers too I appreciate them.

Praying for clarity, peace, and harmony

Hi everyone. I was reading the thread this morning before church and took the opportunity to pray for as many of you as I could remember during our prayer time.

Things are tough here at the moment, my wonderful partner has asked for some time apart to focus on finding work and sorting out his own situation and I'm a little lost. He claims he wants to be better for us. It's doubly hard for me because he was the one who brought me to Christianity, really showed me what it meant and made me love myself and my life again, so if anyone could spare a moment to pray for us to have the strength to get through this it'd be appreciated.

oh turtle. how unsettling. [understatement] prayers.

I took dd out with her dad today while ds was in rehearsal. ds played with ex later. he was rather shattered and had a meltdown after working really hard to behave for three hours. oh and I have bought a second hand dyson. (and a cylinder full of dust) picking it up from the previous owner was really arduous to transport it the three feet from one front door to the next.

I have not posted for a while. I just want to send a prayer to all those who are worrying or have problems. Dutchoma and others gave me strength with their prayers when it was a good time for me to have some strength, and I am grateful and will not forget that.
