Hello fellow humans

Back by popular demand here is the Yurt

Was told of the Yurt recently and thought it sounded a fine place to come and chill.

The philosophy being, that if you:

Need some time out from steaming threads.
Or to rebalance your stressed hormones

then the Yurt is here for YOU.

Soda bread is fresh and ready and pouring you a pint of the black stuff as we speak. Hurrah you are really coming! Am enjoying some passion cake and have had some coffee in Bewleys.

Well well paps /demeter how are you then?

Thanks for the cake have been baking too this afternoon and brought in a passion cake and some chocolate cloud cake covered in chocolate ganache, also a few chocolate eclairs and some scones with jam and cream. In indulgent mood as you see.

You have obviously benefited from the hoilday full of pep and carpet bashing! Have kept off the thread all day but my fingers are itching to go on and I know it will only mean trouble! So more cakes and relaxation then.

Saw you on it wk though!

yes the holiday was good... but need to get baby paps better at sleeping cos she re-discovered the delights of excessive night boob maintenance. And tonite only way she would eat was when looking at herself in the oven glass... wyrrd at 8 months!!

how are you doing glitter - the lake where we stayed there was stones with glitter in them, made the lake sparkle and I thought of you

You lucky thing am putting on weight just reading melsys posts always food food food! Also so yummy. Still havent posted so am being good, although sitting on my hands now.

Glitter stones in a lake must go as it sounds divine! Am really looking forward to a break.

Am ok although personal issues as always but not to be mentioned here as this is my away space. Will sort it all out in my own time.

Having another cake Also some sherbet foaming strawberry flavour!

Oi demeter are you or are you not coming to the summer party by the way and did you get my email?

gotta get baby paps passport sorted in time... going monday as dh has finally found out where i have to go.
Essbee has offered to pick me up in Bristol which would be good.
Looking into it all next week as I do want to come - just need to find out how to get a rental car close to Beetys place

Hope the holiday gives you some time out and space for head cleansing

Great look forward to it. Passion cake is a bit like carrot cake but better Melsy! Cant remember exact ingredients but start a thread in the recipe section adn we can trade recipes.

Am trying to relax but feeling a little pre hols tension. Off to the sea spa then. Bye for two weeks.

Yes indeed Paps is soon coming to a town near you - tickets, passports are ready - just have to conjour up some money Might have to dip into the pot o gold funds for some Leprechaun Loot that I saw in there a while back.

So Glitterbrownfairy missus did you bring us any special Italian delicacies to tempt us into gluttony and yurt lounging?
Would of put up a banner in here... but ya know that we love you anyway in here... and have been very busy swimming in the river.

Am I allowed to sit and have a break in the yurt and the land of litotes at the same time?!? Don't mind either way as long as I can sit down with a cold drink and shut my eyes for 2 mins!!

2 minutes in here = 2 days wobblyknicks BE WARNED the yurt possess mystical powers that make time a warped and multidimensional reality. Very easy to slip from one land to another!!
Not surpised that you were therefore in the Yurt and Litotes. Just don´t get stuck in between. Thats the place where the dust from the carpets lives and it does make one sneeze rather feriously!

Here is a lovely cool drink of pepsi like flavoured drink which is envigorating and relaxing at the same time.

I am well Wobblyknicks, very well indeed and having a lovely time at the moment. How are you doing?

Thanks paps - and thanks for the info about the time warps - will definitely make sure I don't get stuck in the sneezy land! Love the idea of the pepsi drink - will definitely get through jugs of that while I'm here, mmmm!!!

I'm fine ta - caught up in reams of job applications and notes about different nurseries/childminders!! But also very excited, getting stuck into the celestine prophecy!!

Have brought you all some panforte some biscotti and several vats of grappa! Oh plus some nice cheese and chianti of course from Radda. Hope this will do for now. nice to be back I must say. Love to you all and am enjoying a quick chill before bed and another bit of washing. How did we all get so dirt?

Thanks Glitterfairy for the Grappa and food. I have been having a very happy munch and slurp on the new provisions

I made in RL some chocolate macadamia nut muffins. They were so good that I just had to bring some to the Yurt today for Glitterfairy to find as a thank goddess its Friday treat

Are you very busy glitter and not eating your muffins. So big to put in a bag. They are huge muffins - perhaps I could give you the batter and you could put then in Beetroots oven
