I'm currently planning school RE and we are looking at important religious events across all religions that mark stages of life. So for Christianity I have Christenings/confirmations and for Judaism I have Bar and Bat Mitzvah but I don't know enough about Islam, Sikhism,Hinduism etc to know the key ceromonies or events. For example at what age can children start fasting for Ramadam or attend prayers with adults in the Mosque? Any help about any religions would be much appreciated.
