Sorry to come late to this thread but I am waiting to see if I have got on the Gems team for Week 2. Have gone for a number of years with Dd and others from our church but as Dd has been doing a PGCE this year she wasn't sure if she would be able to come.

I love working with the babies so I am looking forward to going again.

Maybe we should try to organise a MN meet up for coffee.

Let's do it! But harder than at greenbelt with the tiny tea tent but still lots of desirable locations :)

Nearer the time when the camping fields are known we can try to arrange a time to meet.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 19/07/2014 10:38

I'm in red 7 week 2. Week 1 I'll be hanging around on the Friday acting like I know what's going on.

I've also go access to charging points if anyone needs that.

The first year I went I was on Red 7. Mind you that was a few years ago in 2007. This year I am on Gold 7 which could be a bit noisy as it is very close to the Thirst venue. I am working in Gems so will be busy between 8 and 1 and 2 and 4 every day but if anyone wants to meet up I would love to meet any Mumsnetters who are there.

CaulkheadupNorth when are you speaking? The offer of access to charging points would be useful if I can't manage to charge my phone at my Gems venue.

I am getting very excited about New Wine now and have even bought a new tent this year. Not long till we go.

Speaking at the 2-3 slot on the final day of each week, in hub 5. I'm pretty sure I have access to the "leaders venue" most of the time. Last year we had electrical hook ups and wifi, but sadly not this time.

I'm on yellow 3 week 1 (3 days yay)

If anyone is around would be good to meet up - not sure how we'll find each other though! (Visions of people asking in my village if 'madhairday' is around Grin

I'm here! The weather is glorious.

I've been in the urban venue and its a much bigger and the band is amazing! It's really rocking in there.

This year there is a kids drop off place called stomping ground which my 8 and 10 year old have loved. There is also a dedicated arts venue with lots of drop in activities and workshops.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 30/07/2014 23:05

I'm heading down Friday morning. Anyone want to meet for coffee between 3 and 5 on te Friday? Am much freer week two as here for the whole of that!

larry5 · 01/08/2014 13:25

I am going tomorrow as I am on team for week 2 and as always when we go to New Wine it is due to rain tomorrow when we want to put the tent up. We enjoy it anyway!

ginandtoast · 05/08/2014 09:48

I am here now, week 2. If anyone wants to meet up, let's!!

madhairday · 13/08/2014 15:43

Sorry I missed your posts while I was there Caulkhead and Pigs, Internet was rubbish down there and didn't discover the free wife in the leaders lounge until too far in! Pigs we mostly sid urban too - absolutely loved it. Did you go to the 'party nights'? If you saw a teenage girl rocking out so hard she fell over that was my dd Grin

Was a hard week in many ways as church leaders, lot of work to be done pastorally etc but loved it still. We were all so sad to leave this time :(

How did the seminar go Caulk?

madhairday · 13/08/2014 15:44

Hahaha at free wife! Stupid autocorrect.

wifi

larry5 · 13/08/2014 17:04

Hi I didn't manage to meet anyone as I was busy with the 1 - 2s in Gems but I had a fantastic time with the little ones. I must say that I thought the catering team were fantastic and that the fact that Stepping Stones were open from 5 30 a.m. was amazing.

Anyone booked yet for next year?

madhairday · 14/08/2014 10:37

Not yet, will be going but not sure what week yet.
