Direct copy of pray request idea Wink

A MN friend asked me for positive vibes and I thought that others might be into sharing good energy and intent.

Glitterfairy would appreciate some good positive vibes for Monday at 12pm !

me playing the advocate - sparrows may be small but they are hardy!

great to hear she is bouncing back quickly. When my Granny had an op I gave her Rescue Remedy and Arnica - I think the remedies worked wonders as well as by osmosis, for she proudly informed the doctors her grandaughter was treating her

The bat is only for Samhain. Flamesparrow is very much me - I have the fire in me, but it is nearly always merged with the shy version of me. And yup, sparrows may be small and a bit timid, but they are strong little birds

SamhainWitch · 19/10/2006 10:08

True Paps, very hardy indeed.

I'm just trying to work on persuading flamey to be more visible with her strength.

I'm so please to see you posting more about your faith now flamey and believing in yourself, but I still sometimes sense that you think of yourself as 'small'.

That probably makes little sense and I may be way off the mark anyway. Just me and my feelings.

Flamebat · 19/10/2006 10:23

When have you ever been off the mark with me?

I do think of myself as small, but when I am in a decent frame of mind, I can see the strength inside of me (does that make sense?). I am soooo shy in rl, that unless I ever manage to get over that, I think I will always think of myself as small.

Sorry... hijacked the thread here

SamhainWitch · 19/10/2006 10:36

As long as you can see that strength flamey, then I will let you off

glitterfairy · 19/10/2006 20:08

Glad she is doing well and hope she is out at the weekend! I always think of sparrows fighting or having dirt baths or making loads of noise to be honest.

Flamebat · 19/10/2006 20:20

lmao - The fighting and dirt bit is actually fairly accurate... a couple of people in college p*ssed me off and realised just how feisty I could be if provoked

I need some positive vibes and happy thoughts so that more nice things happen in my life (or at least less bad) following a run of not so good luck please. fab idea for a thread.

SamhainWitch · 22/10/2006 15:16

If this one doesn't work I will scream

Flamebat · 24/10/2006 09:33

Sending out oodles of positivity all round. DH is suddenly convinced that positive thinking will help us win the lottery ... A bit of action and positive thinking might make us some money in other areas though I guess!

glitterfairy · 24/10/2006 19:19

Positive thoughts coming your way for all things good! Samhain how are things? Hope all is well.

Flamesparrow · 28/10/2006 10:00

I could do with some now too please

DS is poorly with his temp spiking very high, very fast, for no apparant reason.

My central heating has packed up and I can't get it sorted until Monday.

And my car died beyond repair yesterday

SamhainWitch · 28/10/2006 12:34

On the way flamey xx

gf - Mum has had a few down days, not surprising really considering what she has gone through. She is improving every day though and still amazing me with her outlook.

They took one lymph node for biopsy, results on Monday, then we will know if she needs any further treatment.

glitterfairy · 29/10/2006 07:25

It is the outlook which counts. A friend of mine has lung cancer and he is amazing taking everything in his stride even tumours behind his eyes. He has never smoked and is only in his 30s so he could be really bitter but isnt at all.

Sending positive thoughts to everyone today. Am feeling very positive myself so should be good vibes.

Flamebat · 29/10/2006 21:17

Just thought I'd update... DS is still poorly, but a lot better. The central heating - I couldn't phone about til tomorrow, so no change... but the car............

PIL called today to say that they weren't going to give us any money this christmas - they want to sort us with a car instead

expatinscotland · 29/10/2006 21:19

More positive vibes your way, Flamey!

Flamebat · 30/10/2006 14:52

DS seems better... now just for a call for someone to fix my heating (which hopefully has happened... I've been out all day and didn't think to leave my mobile number ).

I am convinced we are on new year, new start situation.

How's your mum doing StG?

SamhainWitch · 30/10/2006 14:59

Good timeing flamey - I was just coming to post an update

She got the biopsy results this morning - no cancer in the lymph nodes!!!!

She will be having 2 doses of radiotherapy which is apparently routine in all cases. That might knock her back a little bit in the coming weeks but other than that - fanbloomintastic!

Flamebat · 30/10/2006 15:05

SUPERB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now all we need is my mum to get a new foster placement, and my sister's bosses to be nice, and the world will be sorted!
