Amberlight- prayer that the heart problems she has are temporary and that the beast cancer will not return. Pray for dh after his op.

Expat's dd suffering from leukaemia. Give thanks that she has a donor for transplant and pay for a good outcome!
FriendofDorothy- pray that the pregnancy will stick and bleeding to stop.
Gingercurl- things are stressful at home, studying for PhD, high blood pressure
heyyyo-dd with health issues.
Issypeach- work situation insecure for h and Issy. Prayer requested for the dcs one of whom has gone awol and the other at uni

Jan marriage, new baby and ongoing health problems
Jugglingwith?-job applications to work 1 to 1 with children and a husband who needs to appreciate all she does!
Lostmywellies- recently returned to the uk, friendships for dd and ds to settle into nursery. Possible knee op?

Madhairday- reoccuring lung infections, dd with psoriasis/partial hearing and unhelpful school and getting bullied. SATs week. Madhair is writing a book! ?or at least she should be if she weren?t on mn?
MaryB- work and relationships at church. difficult situations socially for dc's. dd getting bullied.

Notevenamousie- curently undergoing treatment as an inpatient. recently lost her mum.
PositiveAttitude- soon to be working abroad for 2 years from 17th July!. Pray for dds1,2 and 3 staying behind. prayer also for current work situation and 3 jobs! (eek). Prayers for DB and PA?s family?s relationship with sil.
SESthebrave-prayer for husbands stressful job situation, which may involve going to Dubai (not what ses wants). The last few weeks of pregnancy and work. Pray for the baby to turn the right way round.

SweetestThing- just got the all clear from cancer and officially in remission. however, still has to deal with the after effects of surgery.
Teaandcakesplease- single parent to 2 young children. unsupportive parents re ds "being a toddler." prayer for new reliable friends, and one friend in particular!
Tuo-dd1 and dh to be more positive about her faith
Weegie Thank God that treatment is bring some relief to her condition, chronic inflammatory.Demyelinating polyneuropathy. Ongoing prayers for more improvement and adjusting to a new way of life for both weegie and he dh dd has Perthe's syndrome , where the hip joint dies then regrows. Thank God for an improvement in her condition and further improvements so no op is needed.

Hi Ladies

I popped in while ago, and have been lurking and praying but not much time to post recently.

Please could yo pray for friends of mine who lost their 11 year old son this morning to cancer. Also for their 8 year old son who is left without the big brother he adored. Friend's request is that everyone who hears the news ges and hugs their own children and tells hem how much they are loved.

Mary, praying for your dd. My ds is asking lots of questions and there's a lot he doesn't get and I can see his little brain trying to make it all make sense. Thing is it doesn't, always....praying for all our precious children today.

Back from the scan! Everything was fine! :) The consultant couldn't be quite sure, as little wriggler didn't want to shift in a good position, but she couldn't see any dangly bits, so she said girl :)
I've got a very happy big sister here now although we did warn her we weren't 100% sure...
Consultant offered to see me again at 28 weeks for reassurance, which was very nice of her, as she had said before she would probably release me back to midwife-led care.
So prayers of thanks!

She's not asking questions, just questioning the logic of a faith/belief in God. She wants to believe but isn't sure she can anymore :(

Got bogged down in work, but have popped back tonight, and have been praying for you all...
... first of all, tonight, for Blue - a prayer of thanks for a positive scan and of hope for a less stressful second half to this pregnancy and a happy outcome;
... for Patsy's friends - that's such a tragic story and must be so unbelievably sad for them and especially for their younger ds;
... for Juggling - praying that you will find a way forward with your dh;
... for Oma and Bob, for MHD (haven't been around for a bit, are you feeling better?), for weegie, for Aillidh, and for all who are battling illness;
... and for Mary and your dd - I know that feeling of wanting to believe, but not being sure if I could so well. In the end, I decided that wanting to believe was enough - as a first step, at least.

I was reminded by thinking about this of the prayer that goes: "My Lord God, I have no idea where I am going. I do not see the road ahead of me. I cannot know for certain where it will end. Nor do I really know myself, and the fact that I think I am following your will does not mean I am actually doing so. But I believe that the desire to please you does in fact please you. And I hope I have that desire in all that I am doing. I hope that I will never do anything apart from that desire." I guess it's more about us doubting ourselves than about doubting God; yet the idea that to want to please God is in itself pleasing to God is, I think, reassuring...

Praying through...

After an alarming week with the police out for Mr Stalker caught with a camera outside our house, things seem to be quieter at the moment. Phew. Prayers that it will all resolve would be great.

Amber, eek, saw something on fb but hadn't realised that had happened - gosh yes prayers!

Thanks TUO for asking. I am OK. I had a good week last week. This week I am infected again but keeping on top of it and just about managing stuff. I'm waiting on the hospital to secure funding for another (costly) nebulised antibiotic for me, it all takes time. Hopefully it will help, though.

I'm feeling a bit better. Finally pinned my boss down to do a return to work about my sickness - he was understanding that it's all related and should be resolved when I have a minor op - I've got a blockage in my urinary tract which means lots of pain and sometimes difficulty emptying my bladder. Also up in the night to wee! Prayer for my op date to come through would be appreciated :) but I feel like he's listened to me for a change so I feel a weight has been lifted!

Just popping in to say hi :) as I haven't been on in a few weeks since all you lovely people prayed for me with weird mystery rash. Am still struggling to get over all the after effects but am so much better and back leading normal busy life.
Reading through and praying, will come back and post more at a more sociable hour!

We heard yesterday that we have been approved for 'continuing health care' funding.
I am so raw and new to this that I have no idea what that means, although I have been told that it is good. We are awaiting a visit from the district nurse tomorrow. We have still not heard from the occupational therapist, one thing that would make our life a lot easier would be a little tip-up seat in the shower.
Meanwhile our dd has said that she is very reluctant to bring the children over to see us and I am wondering whether to tell her that her Dad is not expected to get any better than he is now and that, if she is reluctant now, she will be more reluctant next month and she will need to make up her mind whether she wants the children to see him before he dies..which may still be many months away. We really miss seeing her and the children.

Could you just say to your dd that you'd really like her and the dgc's to come over - perhaps suggest a short visit ?

Oh DO, why is she so reluctant, lung infections tend to only be contagious to those with compromised immune systems or the same disease? I hope you can sort something out with her. Not sure what the funding thing means either but hope it all helps.

Have another bloody chest infection. Only been off IVs for 2 weeks. I'm so tired and so fed up of it all but I am functioning and able to do most essential stuff. I can't really complain with all that is going on around.
