"A bit" sorry about the typos whilst on the phone.

So you lot barely hear from me for months, and then I bombard the thread Blush

creatovator · 10/04/2012 22:36

Tea I've been checking out my options and actually it would be better for me to come up on my own by train on Thursday if that is any good. I'd probably arrive early afternoon around lunchtime and stay until late afternoon if that was any good.

lostmywellies · 10/04/2012 22:45

Poor Bob. Glad you've got some clarity at least, DO. Keeping him in my prayers.

I like that poem, SES. DH and I are strings at either end of the lute - or possibly a piano - we need a lot of distance to stay in harmony with each other! :o

hallelujahheisrisen · 10/04/2012 23:46

sorry tea, I was being sarcastic... thinking mainly how the new (second hand free) toy went smashing into the church wall during the paddy and the only reason it did not bounce off the head of someone 3 rows in front was because ds was kneeling on his chair.. .

it is going to be an all nighter. ds has a very bad cough and is struggling to breathe (phlemmy rather than breathing per se.)

jan2011 · 11/04/2012 07:10

DutchOma how are things with Bob, praying

Teaandcakeplease · 11/04/2012 08:33

Ahhh Jan bless you, my struggles are pretty minor compared to some on here Smile

FriendofDorothy · 11/04/2012 08:38

Hello everyone. Just thought I would pop in and tell you that I found out I am pregnant! I would appreciate your prayers that this pregnancy would be uncomplicated and that the baby would stick! Thanks.

SESthebrave · 11/04/2012 09:03

FriendofDorothy - fantastic news! So pleased for you and be assured of prayers for a smooth pregnancy :)

Jan - glad you're feeling ok this morning

DO - hope Bob had a good night

Hallelujah- hope DS and you managed some sleep too!

creatovator · 11/04/2012 09:34

FriendofDorothy Congratulations. I reckon there must be something in the air at the moment. Lots of people seem to be finding out their pregnant Grin. Praying for an easy time for you.

Jan glad that things are better today.

Hallelujah praying for health and strength for you and yours today.

Tea Hope it's a good day and there are no emotional games.

JugglingWithTangentialOranges · 11/04/2012 09:43

Oh, Friend of Dorothy, that's wonderful news ! I was thinking of you when we heard blue's good news on Easter morning Smile

Praying for a good sticky bean (as I think some people have put it) - we called my growing bump "beany", and then carried on after she was born, she even gets called it now sometimes and she was 13 the other day ! Thanks

DutchOma · 11/04/2012 09:53

Bob had a really good night, thank you Lord and thank you everyone who prayed. It is most likely another infection and the antibiotics should clear it. Slightly worrying that it did not look like an infection to us (no temperature), but that it still is in spite of the three times a week antibiotics he is already on. He still feels very heavy and tired, but he is up and much brighter than he was yesterday when he just dozed almost all day.

Bluetinkerbell · 11/04/2012 09:54

FriendofDorothy yay! congratulations! Grin when are you due? I'm expecting for around 19 November I think... Praying for a very uncomplicated pregnancy for us both!

Praying for everyone else!

FriendofDorothy · 11/04/2012 10:01

I reckon I am due about 15 December - so still very early days, hence the prayer request!

DutchOma · 11/04/2012 10:04

Prayers for two sticky beans. Oma will have to get the knitting pins out Big Time. Smile

ZipadiSoozi · 11/04/2012 10:52

DO - How is Bob today, prayers he gets better soon! x

BES - I just take my hat off to you, you sound as though you need a holiday! you don't live anywhere Nottinghamshire do you? we could meet up in a big open space for our dc to run around freely

FOD - Hello and congratulations, prayers your pregnancy goes well.

Prayers for you Jan! x

lostmywellies · 11/04/2012 21:17

Hello, ZipadiSoozi, think I've only seen your name on here before (aot you posting, that is!). Funny thing - my dds were singing That Song today. (Me (to some tiresomeness or other): "Zip it!" Them (singing): "Tee-do-dah, zip-a-dee-day..." It was actually quite unexpected and funny!)

Yay, FoD - that's good news. Praying.

Praying, jan. One day/minute/step (delete as appropriate) at a time!

Glad Bob is a bit better, DO.

Tea - hope you've had a better day. Hope it doesn't rain all week!

jan2011 · 12/04/2012 07:38

morning everyone

thankyou for support. baby slept well last night. yay :) im going through a struggle at the minute, and just want God to heal me, he knows all about it but if i was to get through it it would change my life.

its a lovely day here dd is playing on her mat. ill take her for a bath then walk this morning and a friend is calling in the afternoon. whats everyone else doing today? prayers for you all :)

how are you getting on tea? i hope the weather is good enough to go to the park, perhaps you could bring a picnic and a camera and take some beautiful pics while kids are playing, really tire them out and then they will sit on front of the telly later!

Teaandcakeplease · 12/04/2012 07:49

I'm ok here. There is a soft play in Montrose itself. I found it yesterday. It's rather funny that my PIL drove us all the way to Dundee for one on Tuesday Blush So I may wander over there with the kids this morning, as they both have work to do and then this afternoon presumably MIL and I will do something with the children. At least I hope so, as I had a lovely offer from a mumsnetter to meet up today, which I turned down Sad

But the week is over half way now and actually it is going far far better than last year. Just prayers that things continue to go well, especially for things with MIL as last night she seemed cheesed off with me Hmm

DutchOma · 12/04/2012 09:34

Tea can I suggest that you take MIL at face value. Unless she says something unacceptable, which you can rebutt immediately with a "that was a very strange thing to say MIL, what on earth do you mean?", ignore hints and passive aggressive behaviour. So "she seemed cheesed off with me" gets translated as: "everything is going fine, and there are only three more days to go, thank you for the offer of a cup of tea." With cake please. Smile
