Hope the Empath course gets rolling at some stage! REally looking forwards to it. Have been reading up online and have found some great info which I really relate too

What have you read etc about Empathy?

I havent really paid much attention to the empathy side of things lately, its just something you get used to and see as normal. I think the most important thing is to G&P because it blocks out alot of negative thoughts and emotions. Empathy is really useful when reading though because it gives you that little bit more to go on. Have been mainly concentrating on finding a balance in other areas. Chi (from site) is my guide in this and i am really lucky because its rare that someone gets there own tutor. He sits in all my circles with me and shadows me when i read. Hes Fab

Its a friend of mine who is doing the empathy course. Shes lovely but very nervous and this will be her first circle. Im glad its a closed one as i find open ones get disrupted alot and the energy isnt allowed to settle.

I could do with my chakras cleaning i think vicky i have tried the meditation excersize (where you visualise the crystals in the chakra) but they keep falling out - apparntly thats a sign of lack of confidence or something.

the heart chakra cyrstal is green (but you should use whatever your comfy with )

but pink is an aura colour for love, so goes nicely with the heart chakra too

Ohh is it?, I got really into crystals in my teens, would love to learn more about them.
I love the thing about cleansing them and putting them in your garden overnight !

Ive done a reiki course, as I was told my a woman I worked for I had the gift naturally!! Also a reflexology course years back.
Forgotten most of that too!!

I do meditate and also affirmations sometimes too...use angel cards too sometimes!

Do I qualify as a hippy now ! ? :p

I think I got called away too Huggy.. that's why I don't often go into Chat, because I know I will have to keep saying I have to go.. (I barely get a minutes peace!).. and I feel a bit distruptive. I have only ever been in a handful of times, but on one occasion a lady called SereneMooncat gave me a reading in another room - it's the first and only reading I have ever had and she was very accurate!

Must find more time..

And I would SO love to be able to meditate but it seems to be completely beyond me!

Ive had a few readings over the last few months but spiceys reading freaked me out the most. so accurate (she reads direct from spirit) was shaky and everything. shes really lovely though.

Most of the time i prefer to read for people rather than be read.

Huggy no.. I can't do anything like that.. I don't think this is the right time in my life - I think I am blocking out any ability I may or may not have.. I am too stressed and always suffering from anxiety related stuff at the moment. I have come a long way in the last couple of years learning about all things spiritual and it has changed my life to some extent. I feel as if I lived the first 30 years of my life with my eyes and ears shut! And I have quite a lot of 'spriritual awakening' stuff going on as well.. (LOL I have just told someone on another thread on here that the tingling on their head could be a symptom of spiritual awakening!! Probably was not what they were expecting but it could be!!)
