HI everyone have had an agry adn hurtful day in RL so today I am snuggling here and soothing my hurts and speakign with the deer and salmon and perhaps Paps as a bear!

sickofturkeymoonfiend · 29/12/2005 20:43

What a beautiful site paps! But if it's not too complex an issue to tackle here, how does one discover one's animal totem? I only meditate for relaxation/calming and have never explored visualisations or anything. I obviously have 'favourite' animals, but I guess it's not going to be as simple as that

sickofturkeymoonfiend · 29/12/2005 20:44

Sorry Glitter, poseted without seeing your post. Hope tomorrow is better xxxx

newglitterfairyyear · 30/12/2005 10:31

No problem fmf. Am hoping to get a bit more peace and space today as the kids are off to the theatre with their grandfather!

Here in the yurt there is a calm zen feeling adn the lights are pale and pastel purple to engender spiritual reflections before the New year is ushered in. There is a feeling of quiet and solitude in this reflective time and we feel the air thick with ghosts and feelings from times past.

SuperPapMammies · 30/12/2005 10:51

((((((newglitterfairyyear)))))))

Have a good day and a peaceful one. Just read a response to condolence messages received for FIL passing... so feel the air is very heavy atm.

Did some closure astral travel work with dh the other day - which was very healing for him and touched him deeply.

SuperPapMammies · 30/12/2005 16:18

sickofturkeymoonfiend does any animal stand out to you - one that you notice or makes itself noticable to you?

Any dreams where an animal has been significant?

For some reason (as I am still sketchy about my psychic abilities) the ant might be a good totem for you to discover. Don´t ask me why... just came to me afew hours ago whilst pondering your question about totem animals!!

As for visualisation.... I really like it - it is very imaginery for me, which is why I like this space so much! You don´t have to meditate to do it. Everyone has their own way.

SuperPapMammies · 30/12/2005 16:19

Ants

newglitterfairyyear · 30/12/2005 18:05

Some nice sites here Paps and I liked the stuff about deer on here as well. A new freshness and innocence being awakened and a gentle love. Ah I could do with that. In my last encounter with my golden deer he had large antlers and was a definate male presence. He was drinking at my lake and stopped and turned to look clearly at me and then I followed him to a glade. It was a spring glade with bright green fresh grass and new buds on the trees. I felt that he wanted me to stay wiht him a while but feel he is not going to be there forever just when I need him.

Hope this makes sense. My eldest dd sees many things when we lie and think together she sees animals in fire from a tribal camp fire and fire birds soaring through a night sky.

sickofturkeymoonfiend · 30/12/2005 19:54

Thanks for that Paps! Well, better an ant than a stinkbug (?!) tho it's not perhaps what I envisaged for myself however, I am very community minded and have always wanted to live on a commune so, who knows?
Patience
Stamina
Planning
Energy and patience needed to complete work
Communal living
Storing for the future

I could work on the planning and patience to complete work angle though (i get bored very easily!)

I have always had an enormous soft spot for elephants however!
Strength
Royalty
Connection to ancient wisdom
Removal of obstacles and barriers
Confidence
Patience
Using education opportunities

sickofturkeymoonfiend · 30/12/2005 19:55

PS, after tomorrow, going back to just plain old Fullmoonfiend x

SuperPapMammies · 31/12/2005 10:09

An Ant and an Elephant, now there is a size contrast!! Maybe my intuitive size ratio is down-sizing! I have not noticed any strange wafts of dung from your posts, so think its the regular ant, rather than the poo inhabiting variety

Melsy is always saying I have an elephant brain

So does this mean we have one of these running around Bong land and not one of these

He looks industrios tho, and we need some upgrades on the Yurt, after its excursions round the world to see and play with all the children - its looking abit tatty.

sickofturkeymoonfiend · 31/12/2005 11:04

Paps - perhaps you were simply picking up on my vibes yesterday - Just realised I spent about 4 hours being incredibly industrious and deep cleaning the kitchen! (And that is NOT a regular occurence .
Today however, I am being ruled by my sloth totem and have only just arisen

sickofturkeymoonfiend · 31/12/2005 11:06

But as i seem to have a New year's clean vibe going on, perhaps I can spare some time to give the yurt a little tlc. Have my besom ready to brush out any negative energy - watch the dust fly, fly, fly x

SuperPapMammies · 31/12/2005 13:16

I do as little cleaning as possible atm. Have help which is good, so I am very sloth and was only just mentioning them somewhere here the other day. As it is New Years Eve we should have a full moon party in the field! What does your full moon field look like, or fiend rather?

I am keen to go to this party again. It was fantastic

  • Entrain The dance floor was in a natural amphitheatre and was magic.

So here is a plate of mushroom pancakes with whipped cream and raspberry cinnamon sauce. And besom´s for everybody.

Glitterfairy hope your night is a good one with your friends. Is dd 10 fire animal the phoenix? Or a dragon?

fullmoonfiend · 31/12/2005 16:52

Aw that gathering sounds amazing, but how sad the organisaers ran into so much bad luck by the end. Perhaps it should only ever have been a one-off? As someone said in the article, you can't manufacture magic, it just happens. But that is the sort of place \I'd most like to be tonight. But our Yurt full-moon party will be child-friendly, with all the babies being scooped up when they fall alseep and gently tucked into a warm, fur-lined tent with twinkling fairy lights, and some calm, smiley gentle souls (who don't want to party) there to soothe and fetch us if we are needed. OOh, can we have some of those fire lanterns too? And of course a big bonfire! Going to dig-out my luminous body paints now - see you in the global music tent later

SuperPapMammies · 31/12/2005 17:35

I will get my fire poi out

From the cliff tops will be a pyro and light show of laser that will shower the dancing people in fine droplets of water that glisten like rainbows. Spirit Strobe!!

Blessings for the new year to all xxx

fullmoonfiend · 31/12/2005 18:40

Actually Paps, I take it back. If anyone could manufacture magic, it'd be you! Happy New Year to you, your tribe and to all Yurt-visitors. I must leave now and spend some time with the family Full-Moon . Blessings, love, light and laughter xxx

newglitterfairyyear · 31/12/2005 18:58

And the same to all of you. I am now getting ready for a party and hoping to bring the new year in with hope, peace and light! The same to all of you and lets hope it is a really good year!

newglitterfairyyear · 01/01/2006 10:56

Happy new year to everyone who has and ever does use the yurt. THe yurt is calm this morning adn I have cleaned it and put sage bouquets in the openings. We have a feast of muffins and cookies and pancakes and maple syrup for breakfast.

Happy New Year.

glitterfairy · 02/01/2006 10:56

THe muffins are fresh and there is a sprout salad for anyone interested. Today is meditation and visualisation day!

FairyPapsMother · 02/01/2006 11:42

Excuse me, hello - I am here but side tracked by warm potent dreams of orange and sex chakras glowing and then this website

about a womans bits - which I am sure as a nurse you know all about!!

That sprout salad is magic... is that toasted golden linseed... mmmm

Yesterday to celebrate the new years day in we went for a drive and in random but actually spiritually noticeable way we ended up having hot chocolate with this lot....
Trychlergruppe , who I think are the equivilent of farming rotarians (corr blimey their bells were loud! ) and something abit like this lot.

Baby paps was fascinated and dh got to feel up some enormous Paps (not mine) which made his new year!

Full Moon Fiend manufacturing magick... now that sounds like a lovely idea... perhaps I should become FairyPapsMother and get myself a wand. In fact I will cos all is possible here in the Yurt... today I am FairyPapsMother and cast wonderous spells for wonderous times and ways. Hey having wings is fab too

Blessings and bubbles to all

glitterfairy · 02/01/2006 12:40

Blimey fairy paps you have just had a baby and are reading this? Very impressive.

No wonder you are a fairy! Am having a virtual moment whilst fil visits and leaving him to talk to les enfants glitter. Maybe he will take a message back to his naughty son on how to behave better heres hoping!

fullmoonfiend · 02/01/2006 15:28

Where do you live FairyPaps? I'm very that you have a family and wee baby, get erotic dreams, weave words and magic and stumble accross fascinating people bearing hot chocolate! Can I have a smallslcie of your life please?? [grin}
Glitter, thanks for the muffins - am having a wierd old day as a cold has left me literally unbalanced (wobble wobble, floaty light) It's like being very drunk (or stoned)I keep veering off to the right.
