On the floor of my room.

Middle of the bed then... 🙄

Harmonypus · 21/03/2026 22:42

Yes please, may I swap sleeping places with my dog? I'd have the biggest part of the bed if we swapped.
It's just me, him and my double bed.
He starts at the bottom of the bed on the opposite side to me, but as the night progresses, I get pushed further and further towards the edge, ending up with about 20cm of the bed.
So yes please, I'd love to swap places with my dog at bedtime!

Crudd99 · 21/03/2026 22:44

Got 4. On my seat on the sofa in the living room settle in whilst it's still warm. Left top corner of bed. Right top corner of bed. In one of the 6 official cat beds but I don't go to sleep in any of them I hide until my owner (me obviously) has spent at least 15 minutes checking that I'm in.

Bishbashbush · 21/03/2026 23:23

Wrapped around my head like a (dog) cat. Then down to DP’s feet for a snuggle. Then outside for a midnight piss. Then back to my head. Spoiled little toad.

Sasha07 · 21/03/2026 23:34

Either in the crate next to the bed, looking super cosy and comfy, or we'd still be back to back on the left side of the bed instead of the right. He has long legs so needs most of the space so to swap sides with this one, I'd actually have more room. He's a pug. But thinks he's a great Dane. Won't be long until he walks round and becomes my 'little spoon' for the rest of the though 🥰

At first with my head very sweetly on the edge of my pillow, as if I am going to share it nicely with me. Then bang smack in the middle of my pillow with my back paws almost on my face.

Lellamir · 20/03/2026 22:15

Stretched out in my bed, with almost all of the space to myself.

🤣🤣

Me too!

On the floor of my room.

… in a tiny flowerpot filled with hay.

We have a 99-gram tortoise. Her birthday is in June.

I’m thinking of taking this further now. I’m expecting some tedious emails first thing Monday. I think I’ll swap places with my cat Sunday night, and she can get up and deal with them while I have a refreshing snooze until 11 or so. After all, I’ll have to be up at 5.30 to demand breakfast.

changedusernameforthis1 · 22/03/2026 00:05

In a dog bed

In a cat bed

Halfway up the stairs to trip unsuspecting humans

In the laundry hamper

In a bird cage on a perch

In the same bird cage, but on a swing

Shinyhappyapple · 22/03/2026 00:19

In my furry igloo on the bedroom floor. But around 2.30 I’ll get up and wander downstairs and curl up on the sofa. I’ll curl and uncurl several times so that I leave as many short white hairs on the cushions as I possibly can. At some point I’ll bark to be let out for a wander round the garden a wee. Generally half an hour after I’ve heard my human get up, use the bathroom and go back to sleep.

pompomtiddly · 22/03/2026 01:13

in the rock cave inthe fish tank, ìt may be a squeeze!

Agapornis · 22/03/2026 01:36

DCat1 (needy):
11pm: underneath the duvet, under my own knees pulled up to make a little triangle tent
12 midnight: still under the duvet, the little spoon
1am: chair next to bed
6am: on other half of my own pillow pawing at eyes/nose
6:05am: outside the bedroom kicked out for being an arse

If I were DCat 2 (normal) I'd just be on the sofa 9pm-8am

Miaminmoo · 22/03/2026 02:18

I have a Labrador so clearly I am still sleeping in my bed 🤣

Tarkan · 22/03/2026 02:53

On the floor beside where I’m currently sitting (and will be sleeping soon).

My health hasn’t been great recently so he’s determined to be close to me instead of in his comfy bed only an extra couple of metres away.

Vertically hanging from a bramble leaf

What species is this pet?

MildlyAnnoyed · 22/03/2026 05:08

On the left side of the bed instead of the right.

HerRoyalNotness · 22/03/2026 05:43

In the corner of the living room until everyone is asleep. Then I’ll either sneak onto the couch or upstairs onto the carpet.

PurpleFlower1983 · 22/03/2026 05:57

On the bed, snuggled between two pairs of legs snoring - dog.

Under the bed in a basket with a baby blanket in it - cat.

Agapornis · 22/03/2026 08:36

selffellatingouroborosofhate · 22/03/2026 03:00

What species is this pet?

I'm guessing caterpillar cocoon or butterfly, @Jacketpandbeans ?...

StephensLass1977 · 22/03/2026 09:58

In the exact spot I'm supposed to be anyway, fully stretched out and living the life of Riley.

TaterTots68 · 22/03/2026 11:07

FloofyKat · 20/03/2026 22:20

Curled up on a fluffy blanket on the sofa.

Yep, same here. This is her current favourite spot. Soon it will repulse her and she will have to find an alternative bed. It won't be on the cat bed though 🙄😂

Misshollys · 22/03/2026 11:09

In the same bed and on the same pillow 😴 ❤️

DollyPartonsLeftnip · 22/03/2026 11:32

I'm on the couch downstairs, as our eldest boy (dog) has transitioned now to palliative care. He has cancer. He sleeps on his memory foam bed at the side of the couch. We take turns, but the dhusband is 10 years older than me and is slowing down, so I put my disabled body on the couch.

Whosthetabbynow · 22/03/2026 11:35

In a box covered with a blanket
