Hi all
Hope this is okay to do, im still quite new on here. I'm very so sad to be posting this but im at a loss as to what else to do. I have to rehome my two beautifully, perfect pussy cats. I have tried putting notices up in post offices etc, no luck, Ive tried calling the rspca but they put the phone down on me, I've asked everybody I know, but nobody seems to want cats at the moment! I cant understand why, I love them dearly they have been an absolute pleasure and I'm gutted its come to this. If anybody knows of anybody who would be able to give them a good home then please respond on this thread, I can deliver in the midlands area or they can be picked up anytime. (I'm in Walsall, in the west midlands)

2, 3 year old cats, will be 4 in september. 1 white male with david bowie eyes called Charlie, and 1 black and white female called Lucy. they are domestic short hair crossed with a part persian and are stunning with thick midlength hair. they are brother and sister from the same litter, very fit and healthy. they are completely litter trained and never have accidents, they used to be indoor cats but now love going outside. they are up to date with all their jabs and have both been neutered. they are chipped and i have all the bits of paper from the vets to support this. They have beds, travel boxes, litter tray, bowls, toys, blankets, brushes all ready to go with them. I am the only owner they have had and i have loved them to bits which shows in their nature, they are really easy going and love some fuss but are quite happy to amuse themselves when needed, they really are people cats and love playing. they never had problems with kids, they do tend to stay away from noisy ones mind. they adapt really well to change, we have lived in 7 different houses during their life time and they never had a problem.

We are having to move in with family for the forseable future and need to rehome them asap as we cant take them with us, and we have tried everyway of keeping them but we cant. i desperatly want them to go to a good home so any takers please reply on this thread, thank you
x

ooohhh They are beautiful!! If my cat wasn't so needy I would have taken them, but if he get stressed, he gets very poorly and has to go straight to the vets, so can't introduce any more animals, he is ok with our other cat but he did a disappearing act when she came into the house for a few weeks

NJM & Baby...how did the visitation go today? x

BabyDubsEverywhere · 22/06/2008 20:53

Hey whispy, it went well I think, apart from me not hearing my phone ring and missing 3 calls from njm when they were trying to find us!

My house feels very different already though - no fluffy pussy cats wandering in and out and lots of gaps where things should be I know its for the best though and njm is lovely with a fab family - just need to see how it works out with the other pets now so all being well ....

Would like to take chance to thank everyone for kind messages and all your help. It really is appreciated,

aaahhh this thread has made my eyes water and made me smile - what lucky cats to know such kind owners (i mean babydubs and njm). babydubs they are beautiful cats and i don't want to sound corny (probably will) but it lifts my heart when i see people who love their pets. (we have had numerous rescued cats/dogs in the past = yes i'm a sucker and proud of it!)

hope all goes well in your new home xxx

Have been following this thread as I am a sucker for cats, alas I have an elderly old boy of my own and an elderly girl who comes for her "holidays", i also have a DD who's alergic to cats so when these two pass on we won't have any more otherwise I would have volunteered to have them.

Some of the things that happen because of mumsnet are truly wonderful things. (Soppy, hormonal thinking of my old boy emoticon)
