Will you be buying Christmas presents for your pets and what will they be?

My dogs and cat usually get a pet stocking filled with toys and treats, and a couple new toys, and some Christmas dinner which is their fave gift of all . I even wrap their pressies and put them under the tree.

I don't care if this is a pointless extravagance or not; people may spend their money as they wish, but I do think it slightly odd to wrap a present for an animal, and indeed to give them presents to mark special occasions, as they are not exactly syncronised to our calendar, are they?

So in summary, no, no pets presents and think anyone who does is slightly unhinged in some way.

Geez, this has well and truly kicked off in my absence! It was intended as a lighthearted fun thread! Sherlock really has some issues going on, and yes, poverty is a real problem, and if I had the power to end it I would. I'm not going to feel guilty though, about spending a few quid on my pets at Christmas. I agree with you too, Poinsettydog.

This is just weird now.

We love our dog/ponies. They get rewarded for their positive and big cuddly contribution to our family life.

And I've burnt my hair shirt because this house is so fecking cold.
