Along time ago my parents had a cat (probably tabby) and we could play Hide and Seek. We are thinking of getting a cat in the future, may be in a year time or later. So please tell me about your cats. The reason why I am asking is because tabby breed is not amongst the 10 smartest cats in the world purrfectcatbreeds.com/top-10-cats/top-10-smartest-cat-breeds/ but for us he was quite smart. So I wonder whether the cats in the link are really that smart. I guess they are also very pricey.

I have a Siamese cat. They are very popular. Many play outside but mine won't. I would let him if he wanted to....I do worry he'd get stolen though. He's very friendly as most Siamese are.

All our Siamese have been outside cats Smile. We do worry about them being lifted - especially the male as he is such a tart very approachable. They are both micro-chipped. Smile

In fact, yesterday the little tyke disappeared from 6am till 7pm Hmm. We'd even gone out twice calling for him and were grateful not to see him flattened on the road - god knows where he disappeared to probably ingratiating himself somewhere Grin

British shorthair x2 (eg, mogs). Once is utter mince and the other is elderly but relatively sharp given his advancing years (19).

Mind you, mince for brains knocks on e window to be let in/out, so there is a braincell in there somewhere.

Large, elderly ginger and white moggie boy here. He's the boss - he has trained my cat-hating SIL to feed him treats and let him curl up on his bed. He has trained the dog that cats rule by sitting in doorways and refusing to let the dog pass and slapping him across the muzzle - but will also play with the dog when mood takes him. Best of all he loves his human family and cuddles…..

Our cats are kitties and they're really clever. They clean themselves and everything.
