Aw, glad he's OK Cod. My cat lost all her teeth due to old age and still lived to be very nearly 21. Her gums were sharp enough to kill mice!

Alfie (my cat - 7/8 yo) was starving after his stint at the vets. He came out dead skinny (was never the portliest of cats in the first place), still trying to feed him up now, 8 weeks+ on.
