Oliver’s tragic death

Hi, I’m hoping you can help me. My son Oliver died as a result of NHS staff not having autism and learning disability training. I’m campaigning to make autism training compulsory for NHS staff so that there isn’t any further needless deaths. Could I please put a post on your group promoting my petition? I believe it is relevant to the members of your group and I’d really appreciate your support in helping to get to 100,000 signatures so that the Government will debate it. We currently have almost 30,000 signatures Many thanks in advance. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/221033 — with Oliver McGowan.

I'm so sorry to hear this,

my son has autism & learning difficulties, I agree that drs and nurses don't always understand what to do, or how to make adjustments, it's seems as though it's one size fits all which sadly it doesn't.

do you mind sharing what happened to your son? I appreciate if not.

Can I just say that I have known Paula for years on another forum and can totally vouch for how genuine she is. The story of what happened to Oliver is tragic. Its all in the public domain but I will leave it to Paula if she ants to post specific links.

Hi Paula, I've checked the email and signed then I checked the petition again and the number had gone up by 1 person and then I got email notification to say my signature had been added,
