Petition to stop male crime being reported as female crime

After the recent tube station attack, there was an outcry by members of the public who objected to the way the attack was reported as being committed by women, when it was obvious that the attackers were male.

Please sign the below petition to stop this from happening in the future.

If these people go to prison, they may be housed with XX prisoners, which is a much bigger concern.

Please can someone help me with short snappy few sentences to accompany this on Facebook? You know, shocking fact, how many women have been convicted of rape when rape is a male offence, why it’s important statistics be recorded accurately and what it means if they aren’t type of thing.
I want to convey fact, common sense and impact, but I’m not sure my knowledge on this subject is as comprehensive as others and I don’t want to get anything wrong and give people the opportunity to pull me up on it.

Perso, I think all crime should be reported according to the sex of the individual regardless of how they choose to live their lives.

I think I need to make it about crime in general with regards to naming the birth sex of a perpetrator Waddlelikeapenguin I'll have a think about it.
