Scrabulous dictionaries - written by the illiterate

I'm a massive Scrabulous fan (when it works!)

Unfortunately both of the dictionaries are bizarre. For example, I tried the word 'via' - not allowed. However, today, in the space of three moves I was allowed to include the word 'fuck', later extended to 'fucker' and then added the word 'mother' on the front assuming that this was not possible. But yes, indeed it is (and is quite valuable in terms of points).

You can also have 'spiv', 'eh', 'homey' and even 'homeys'.

But can you have 'felch'?

No of course not.

It let an opponent of mine have Zaire which surely as a proper noun should be disallowed. But then I used it myself so no longer mind. And it allows Oxo ffs.

I love that it allows ebaying though. Can't wait to have the letters for that.

my opponent put the word 'c*nt' the other day, and then immediately wrote "sorry!" in the chat box.

HC - I did worse I'm afraid. I put down the word 'fuck' and now my male ex-boss appears to think I am flirting with him - at least he's flirting at me and I'm studiously ignoring it and putting words like 'faithful' down as much as possible

i think that "I used quim while playing with tutter just the other day" would be an excellent quote of the week

unlikely to make it to the shortlist i fear...

I think 'I was not allowed to put my quim down when playing with Tutter....' would be better

It's driving me barmy. I'm actually playing hangman now I'm so bored waiting for it to load!

DH and I have learned a new word today. Neither of us had heard of quim before .

I used fart and arsed in a scrabble game with a random person, and he seemed to be shocked, as he wrote in the message bit "Fart.....Arsed??????"

I felt rather embarrassed .

Why is Quo not allowed, but Jun? And zed? And Waxer? (I am not complaining about the WAXER, to my big disbelief it gave me 45 points, but come on!

I was cross I couln't have 'fy' because I could've had 'witty' on a triple word score! Bloody thing obviously isn't au fait with Shakespeare!

I keep getting 7 vowels- argh! The dictionary is random- you're allowed Iran but not Iraq. Is this some strange political message?
