Why has everyone started saying 'deteriate'? The word is 'deteriORate'. Yes I mean you, radio ad.

Yellowraincoat I don't mind so much that English people don't say the "r " in "car" or "door", I just roll my own even more to compensate, but it does make me laugh because they put random "r"s into other words - "drawring" a picture for example.
