Thanks Cali, had searched ebay earlier and realised there was tonnes out there!

Loving the dino cupcake cases and sprinkles on ja9's earlier link and i've ordered pirate cutters from them in the past.

think will get my tableware etc from partypieces unless ebay prices end up better, they also have a pin the tail on the dinosaur too...i got my pin the eyepatch on the pirate from them last year.

WW, your link looks fab, will have a read later.

I finally thought to search the archives and someone started a similar thread about a year ago and got tonnes of fab ideas for games etc so think i'm sorted...apparently there's a ben and jerry's ice cream called fossil fuel with choc dinos in it! shame ds doens't like ice cream!

Would quite like to pass on making the cake this year for various reasons so will investigate tescos and maybe persuade my lovely SIL to do cupcakes!

oh and passing off mini jaffa cakes as dinosaur poo would definately appeal to ds (another MN suggestion)

excellent, thanks ja9! I'll aim to provide suitable cake cases and sprinklies.

ww, he says it's too chilly and therefore only eats it on hot beaches in france. fair enough.
