How old are you?
How many children have you?
Can they all swim?

Thanks. Just interested.

3 children, DS1 is having lessons, DS2 is starting lessons in September and I'm thinking about taking DD as she has no fear at all in the water and I think she'll pick it up quickly.

I can't swim btw, so I'm quite keen for the Dkids to learn whilst they are young.

1 dd, aged 4
She swims with armbands

BadHair · 25/07/2005 21:26

I'm 34
Children are 4 and 2
Neither can swim properly, but 4 yr old is almost there. He was a natural from first time he went in pool last summer and just needs some proper lessons to get him going. His name is on the huge waiting list at the local pool. 2 yr old hated the water last year but will be trying again with him this summer.
FWIW neither dp nor I can swim. Dp flatly refuses to go near water but I will happily go in pool or sea, and have every intention of having lessons (again) when I have the time and the money. Have always wanted to swim but having had 5 different teachers with varying degrees of succes I suspect I'm just born to sink.
